Got my X back last night. It was wrapped in Xpel and it looks great. I tested the functionality of the falcon doors and it works like it should. Opens without issue and when I stand too close to it, it stops before making contact.

I uploaded the videos in 240p since we were loading up for a vacation and was short on time. Will be creating videos to answer more of your questions. The X is getting wrapped in clear bra at the moment, but it will be done tonight.

Getting full car clear bra done and will be picking up in 2 hours. I would imagine it would not be a problem since the sensors already go through the body panel. Will verify upon getting the car back.

My initial impressions are that if you are sensitive to sunlight, the windshield might be a bit much. Not so much in the FWD skylights since the opening are smaller and the angle in which the sun would project light. Have you been in an S with the pano roof? I would say it is equal to that...

Thanks for the update. I have personally not heard back, so it is nice to know what to expect. It's a no brainer that I will take the alcantara over the $500. It does make it a hassle for me since the nearest service center is 250 miles away and who knows how long it will take.
