I missed that. I agreed maybe because Andrewket upgraded to rear facing seats on the right time for him to be pushed back enough in the production line that he was able to add the Performance Plus package on time. Sometimes I just think the answers are random. A little bit frustrating.

I have to add that my wife was at Tesla New York and was denied a test drive without a reservation with them not knowing that We do have a reservation. I was trying to sell one to my brother in Law and we were not able to test it. I talked personally with the staff and they told me clearly that...

When I added the Performance Plus package to my car, and I am P14291, was on the same day that they posted the Performance Plus package @ Tesla website. I received a confirmation email on 04/02/2013. I guess in my case I was just on time to do the update but pushing my delivery date approx. 1 month.

@Andrewket and @laalan: I think I got penalized twice, first for the rear seats and second one for the Performance Plus package. Mine is Red, Black interior, carbon fiber décor, pano, tech, audio, rear seats, performance plus, twin charger, HPWC, parcel and Gray 21" wheels. I don't even know...

Who did you talk to? they are still saying it is $6500 for the performance plus. I finalized under 2012 pricing. I have call four times already and spoke with different agents each time over configurations. They said they have not done any discounted price to anybody.

reserved 11/2012 finalized 01/14/2013, reservation seq # 14291, Conf: p85 performance plus rear facing seats, tech, audio, parcel, gray wheels 21". I am still waiting. Guess I am delayed due to upgrade to performance plus. The waiting continues.

If you go to Michelin web site and search for the tires available for Tesla Model S 2013, now there is an option of Tesla model S with sport package. The tires available are Front:245/35ZR21 (96Y) and Rear:265/35ZR21/XL (101Y).
