By the way who ever wrote the previous Edmonds update said the car had become his favorite of the long-term fleet. It still puzzels me how auto designors can get the complicated engine computers to work every time and still get the "reboot blues" from the rest. I really would like to know.

I am surprised at the number of "tire over inflation on delievery" stories. As Jerry33 points out all cars are shipped with tires over inflated. I can understand getting your vehicle with high tire pressure from a car transport truck, but to have your Model S delivered that way at a store...

It seems to me that many of the problems seen in both delivery and build quality came at the end of the year when Tesla wanted to get as many cars out the door as possible. Maybe it is my false perception, but there seem to be less problems mentioned on the forums with more recently delivered cars.

Actually when I said test drive, I mean Tesla store test drive. I am pretty sure the first thing the product specialist who accompanied me did when we got back to the store was to report the problem to the manager so it could be addressed. How it got out of the service center that way to begin...

The only glitch in an otherwise all-around wonderful test drive was the car's allignment. When I took my hands off the wheel the car, a P85, immediately dove to the right. It is interesting that the store had just gotten it back from service where 19" wheels were changed out for the 21" set...

It is not Tesla that would be getting the tax break money, it is the leasing company. It is true that some leases on plugin cars do have the tax break figured in. Ford does this with their plugin vehicles. But with no resale history for calculating the residual on the Model S a leasing...
