First FSD beta crash reported on NHTSA. Driver claims beta “fought for control” even after they intervened which I’ve never heard of or experienced happening. Sounds fake and hope it is.

One thing I learned is if you rest your foot on the accelerator, it seems to nullify the AP exemption. Another is the “follow distance” is only measured when you’re between 1s and 3s away from a vehicle ahead. So I was 7 car lengths for an entire drive, but never got “credit” for that as good...

Looks like Tesla is doing it ad hoc and more frequently the longer a version has been out.

When you opted out, did you wait until the score disappeared from your phone? Not sure if this a required step, but folks seem to be doing that first before opting back in. The opt out takes at least 30 minutes for the score to disappear. Then when you opt back in, it takes a while as well. 1...

Yep, painful. They are clearing 100s first regardless of mileage volume. That’s why I blame the lawyers :p easier to explain a driver has a “perfect driving record” vs a “99*100000 miles” driving record. Sorry lawyers on here. U ayte.

It looks like they are clearing all 100s in the queue (relatively random intervals, but usually after a version has a decent soak). And then clearing 99+. OR they only do 100s off cycle. Everything less than that happens on the Friday interval up to a certain volume? I blame the lawyers.

Maybe production volumes :p But 98s starting next week, so that basically guarantees 99s before then.

Well I saw my safety score. then it disappeared. then I saw another safety score just like it.

Looks like just a ton (1000+) on the latest production release. Single digits in the beta which I assume are delayed installs by the owner.

Totally agree. I think the FCW were the biggest hits which I anticipate being able to navigate around more now knowing how sensitive it is to parked cars etc. Feels like the others aren't so bad and stuff I don't do anyway. Although I do occasionally tear out a good aggressive turn :p

Sorry, I meant 5.2 (beta 10.3) but I see it there now and that it’s zeroed out from the recall. I was trying to see if ~1,000 got 10.3 Friday and then all were shifted to 10.3.1 Monday. It looks like that’s what happened with (915+21= 936) getting the beta today and yesterday. TeslaFi n00b...
