My model X charges at 38 mph using a 60-amp breaker. (48 x 240 = 11,520 / 303 = 38) I like to think in "rated miles" rather than kws. However, when driving for the past two years, I'm using an average of 333 watts/mile.

No high hopes, I have 11 years of experience with Tesla and their predictions. My drive to hospital was just an example (but at age 89 there is that possibility). I could have said, what if I had one too many and I want it to take me home? :)

Spoke with Trig store rep. (715-356-9456) this morning and was told that there was a "part missing" and not expected until December or first of year. In other words, let's not expect it for Christmas.

You may be right, but this is the second Charger I tried with the same unsuccessful results. I will try lubricant suggested and will try an EA unit once I get a chance.

Do you think I could use some type of lubricant to make the CCS handle slide into the adaptor easier and thus make the units better to latch together?

I finally bit the bullet and ordered late yesterday. Wasn't asked for any Tesla account information and used my credit card to purchase. Now hoping to get delivery before heading on trip that will require an adapter for the Charge Point unit in Norway, MI.

What did you specifically order and has it arrived? I am needing something to connect to a Charge Point unit in Norway, MI on June 21st and I need to get more knowledgeable in a hurry.

I kept my 2016 X sun shade and it fits on 2022 X but not a perfect fit...Don't plan to use it until wife complains, sun doesn't bother me.

I think you are right. Haven't had a chance to do any traveling since my purchase and hope this changes soon.

Ah, just tried it and that was helpful. Now if only it could stay in cruise control there wouldn't be a need to press accelerator to maintain same speed.

When you post a "service request" is it via the phone app? What's the best way to let Tesla know how you feel about lane changing with Autopilot?

I haven't found it yet, but it could be there. Mine weren't opening fully because it sensed stuff above. However, you can hold your finger on screen button and it will continue to raise until full or until you take finger off screen.

Thanks. I was not aware of the newer smaller type. I will look for the adaptors. Once I have that and attach my music stick it might pop up somewhere on the screen. At the moment, even though I put the music on the same stick as the sentry stuff, (in Glove Box) I can't seem to fine the music.

Thanks for the reply(s). Found the stick and loaded music on it, just haven't quite figured out how to play the music yet. I will keep looking. :) Garage opener working great now. Just takes a while to set up everything including autopilot with 2 clicks to make it easier to change lanes...

You are a month ahead of me, slightly different config., and deserve VIN and delivery. Got my VIN, updated Spreadsheet, and delivery scheduled for 3/28 in Maplewood, MN. Hope you hear very soon! Good Luck!

BS! Look at the spread sheet and you will see the exact configuration and location given to a much later order. No logic whatsoever.

Tell me how this happens where the nearly cheapest possible configuration, no FSD, gets VIN and delivery with April order date while earlier orders, some with a promise of 2021 delivery get ignored???

I'll add my name to those getting the shaft. Similar story: Went from July to Date-Range March 22-March 31 for 7 days w/o a VIN and now, 2 days ago, back to July. Been off forum last few days but see VINs issued to orders from July 2021, June, May, April, March. Are there 5 or 7 seat VINers?
