First rain of the season outside and inside the car.

Model 3 purchased Oct 2019. We had our first rain of the season overnight and when I went out to the car this morning there was a puddle on the center console. Looked up and the headliner near the rear view mirror is damp and slightly detached in the driver side as compared to the passenger...

J1772 adapter. What's the proper way to unplug?

Folks, When I charge at the local Voltas I almost always end up with the J1772 adapter still inserted while the charging door wants to close. And it jams against the adapter. I think this can't be good for the servo/motor driving that hinge. I will click "Stop Charging" and will cycle off...

    Drunken TACC

Does anyone else feel that the acceleration/deceleration gain for TACC in traffic is way too large? The biggest disappointment with the car is that TACC, in even moderate traffic, feels like a drunken kid, hurry up followed by throw the humans forward with aggressive regen, repeat, over and...

Updated to V10 today, got the middle finger within 5 minutes of first drive

5th day owning a computer on wheels. I was driving through my neighborhood, no TACC, no AP, and coming up to a stop sign with a car in front of me. I was slowing to a stop at about 10mph, he was 40 feet or so in front of me and the M3 chimes. I have no idea why it's doing this and I look down...

    Tesla API and battery data.

So this is pretty cool. Tesla API I can ask Tesla all sorts of information about my car via their REST API. I have a brand new Model 3 SR+ and I'm wondering how it computes batter_range and ideal_battery_range, which in this case are the same at 212.62, and which are 3.38 miles off of the...
