I will agree with you 100% that waiting until a day or two before makes sense (mine was there 10+ days before scheduled delivery) but waiting until 2 hours before delivery (for which I was told the first hour was detailing) seems to be cutting it way, way too close and just a bad decision/process.

I gave up on this and called Ez-pass who sent me a license plate transponder and that solved my problem. Every other try (inside, nose cone, etc) didn't work consistently - the one that goes onto the license plate has woken flawlessly.

Similar problem with my BMW X5 as well and I had this problem with my MB E350 before that. The right combo of temp, precipitation, and traffic causes the cr$p to build up and away goes functionality...

My late February moved to March last night as well. Spoke to my DS who said production start date remained the same thing try to be more realistic about actual delivery date.
