I'm confident I'm typing it in correctly. I suspect either the app won't let me login until I get my car, or it has a bug when users have a '+' in their email address. I'll troubleshoot it with Tesla next week when I pick up my car.

In poking around on the net, it looks like the Roadster battery pack (56 KWh) weighs about 1,000 lbs. So it'd make sense that the Model S is between 1500 and 2000 lbs.

It's a minor nit, but the curb weight for the A8 is between ~4,400 - 4,800 lbs. I think you were looking at gross weight, which includes passengers & cargo.
