Just seems to have started recently, it feels like it's catching onto the hinge, definitely not the glass onto trim.

Has anyone else experienced the back door partially getting caught when opening it. I have to close it again, and then open again to be able to open the door completely.

Yes 100%, that's exactly it, rest of trunk is dry, except the compartment. Have a service schedule to fix it, although that fix in the video looks pretty home made. The most annoying thing is that the UMC velcro bag was in there, which got totally soaked.

Had a long drive yesterday, drove through some moderate rain. Wanted to use the UMC to charge, which is kept in the compartment, to find it and the velcro bag totally soaked. The trunk itself is not wet at all. What could cause this? Underside of car looks normal.

Honestly scratching your alloys is like scratching the back of your phone or your t-shirts not looking as bright as when you first bought htem, it's just gonna happen.

Have just double checked, and yes it is wet to the touch in the corners of this part of the boot (under the false floor)
