Even if it was a different car than the one you thought you getting? even if it was NOT what you bargained for?
This is one of the most misguided posts, no rational or unbiased buyer will accept.
I think you wasting too much time reading the completely useless self-contradicting posts of wk075. If you skip doing that, like what I did, you will in much better shape.
Battpower. You keep hashing old stuff and arguments that have been trashed over and over.
You unmasked yourself. You sidetrack the thread with issues that has zero bearing on the MAIN issue, which is: People DID NOT GET WHAT THEY BARGAINED FOR. It is clear what axe you grinding here.
Thanks for posting that. Tesla never called that an urban supercharger.
What is an urban for someone is likely to be non-urban or suburban for someone else who is living or driving by not very far away
That is wrong. There is nothing called urban superchargers by Tesla. What you call "general public" is your take. Who gave you the authority to say what the general public say? Misleading, to say the least.
On navigation and Tesla map, there is nothing says that one supercharger is more...
Urban ?? Are there urban and non urban, or suburban superchargers?
How do you tell which is which?
First time I learn something like that. An urban supercharger for someone could likely be a non- urban for someone else.
I wouldn't rationalize that at all. If you want your sd85d to drive only around town, that is your decision. If you want to make out of town trips, your 85 will not be of use.
Is that what you bargained for when you bought your car?
Are you reaching this conclusion because you noticed less max miles range, or because what is been displayed as miles is not really miles used to be before
I doubt that v. much. Even though, tesla might be able to make charging location-dependent, all people here who are charge gated reported that they now spend on trips hours more than they were accustomed to due to extended charging time.
V.good news
Sounds like new, not reman, battery. What is the new warranty.
Also, before you going on your trip. What the charge time 10 to 90% on the new battery. On trips, charge time often much more important than total miles.
You keep asking for specifics specifics specifics....
You were given before many specifics from different people. You kept repeating "party line" false arguements. This is Like when a defense attorney who does not have a defense
That is really generous of you to take the time and effort to write all of that. Well written.
Have you ever thought he is just might be doing a (his) job
My car has only 29k miles on it. You still twisting facts. We are talking here in this thread about SUDDEN AND DELIBERATE downgrading, not warranty or degradation
You missing the main point here Mr. bmah. When you bargained for a car that takes you certain time to make a specific trip, and later they switched the game that you need more hours to do the samr trip, you have been cheated and did not get what you bargained for. That is why it is " USELESS"...
The real question Sir is : what if they gave you a replacement battery that is close to capacity but with charge time awful like 70 to 100% longer than what you were getting before the sudden loss.
The loss we talking about here on this thread is NOT DEGRADATION that YOU EXPECT AFTER FEW YEARS OF USAGE. it is something resulting from selling defective merchandise. The car is NO LONGER FITS WHAT YOU OR ME BARGAINED FOR.
I dont see how can anyone be happy with that!!
Really, I dont know what you talking about. You talking about diff. Bet 90 and 100kw. We are talking here about charge time at supercharger has went up 70 to 90% since the dreaded firmware of may June 2019.
If you using your car to commute, that is one thing. If you using your car on long...
No Sir. Wrong. You might be happy that you getting miles back, but that is not the car you bargained and paid for. With this slow charge it is impractical to use the car for what I paid for. As a matter of fact, I would say if anyone uses the car for out of town trips (i assume majority do) ...
That simply means that tesla replacing batteries is just a gimmic . And by far not a warranty satisfaction. Is just mud in the eyes to keep your car drivable, even just like nothing you bargained for.
It sounded to me that many people here think that if Tesla replaced your battery with a new or refurbished one, you will automatically gain back your supercharging speed. That is questionable. I, for one, will not consider slower charging as acceptable under any circumstances
Rooting is like factory reset. When you factory reset a device, like a phone or a router, you go back to a status when the original firmware was burn in.
There is no way to skin back layer by layer, go back to a specific release , unless you have and install image copies of all releases up to...
Battery Monitoring and Tracking
From reading this thread, I gather there are different tools to track and generate reports re. Battery conditions.
Can someone please summarise what hardware and software tools are available to buy or get hold of, for that purpose. A brief pros, cons, and prices...
