Just took my Model 3 back from service on Monday, can confirm that a front drive unit replacement fixed the issue for me. I took delivery of my 22 Model 3 in June and didn't have the issue with the noise until ~September when it started getting colder. Took two trips to the service center...

So glad to hear that you have a SC with techs willing to work with you! Would you be able to provide any kind of reference # for the internal article you were shown so that we can point our SCs in the right direction? :)

I contact my service center through the Tesla app when they have my vehicle, and they seem pretty responsive.

OP linked another thread above where the cause has been determined to be the front drive unit. Maybe ask about that and if any front drive unit diagnostics can be done while they have your vehicle?

Don't think it's anything related to the panel gaps since mine didn't have this issue on delivery, it just appeared one day but I'll take a look at the gaps. Smushing in some rubber to seal it could be a quick fix to determine if that's the cause.

Mine also has an L for the 10th digit. Strange.

What model years does everyone have on their paperwork? Mine says 2019 but I have a 602XXX VIN and I thought Tesla already switched to 2020 a while ago. My vehicle was JUST made in Fremont with the latest batch too.

Just got a delivery text. Oregon White/black 18s Only letting me schedule to take delivery 11/30 or 12/2.

It's the weekend. Try again Monday and if there's still no response go into a Tesla location.

There was one in July and one in September this year. I didn't keep up with these before then.

No VINs in October? According to this thread, production is prioritizing international deliveries until possibly as late as December. Looks like we might be waiting for a while before we even get a chance at another batch.

Now we wait for the next batch... Hopefully they decide to include some white interiors this time

Just had my OA release a White/Black stealth with 19" rims in Bellevue if someone's looking. Gonna keep trying for a White/White one.

Any idea if white interior was on any of them?

The highest VIN seen on EV-CPO hunter in the US is now 522247. Appears that the Model 3 vins twitter is now behind. Their last tweet was a motnh ago.

Was also told that Tesla is currently not shipping inventory vehicles >500 miles away since it is nearing the end of the quarter.

Good point. Mobile is basically unusable to me and personally I set the browser to desktop mode when I feel like checking on my phone.

EV-CPO shows some new white/white LR AWDs were delivered throughout the Eastern US lately and are available in existing inventory.

Seems like a lot of new inventory has been getting delivered to the Eastern side of the US recently. Batch up to VIN# 494988 it looks like with some white/white available in inventory. Anyone on the Eastern side checked to see if new P3D-'s have become available?

Really hoping Tesla made some in August too. White/white and black/white seem completely gone along the West coast

I had the best luck just applying for financing through Tesla. They'll find a loan for you through the big banks and the rates are decent since the federal reserve interest rates went down recently.

Called my local Tesla store in the Pacific NW and they didn't have any black/white or white/white M3P- available in the region :(
