that doesn't make sense as my pickup is the 28th in Staines and they specifically said the car arrives in the UK on the 27th! I feel they are having me on. will try again and see if i can get someone else who might tell me the truth as I got assigned my VIN in the very first batch of people...

I've just been told by Tesla delivery team that my car is due to arrive in the UK on 27th June...is there actually a ship due on this day or are they pulling the wool over my eyes as i would like to move up my delivery date if possible?

I am in the same position - live near Kingston and have a pickup from Bluewater (date still TBC). An uber is going to cost over £70! Such a shame they don't have the previous pickup locations for when picked up my Model S as there were many much closer options!

My understanding is the CCS retrofit will not impact charging speed vs the original connection we are used to, it just increases the options available to us re charging. I am assuming you arrived at Liphook with either a cold battery and/or a higher state of charge which both lead to slower...

If you are based near London can definitely recommend Andrew at EuroTint as they chrome deleted my Model S and tinted it. They also do full wraps. I think i paid way less than £550 for both tinting and chrome delete so well worth checking with them first

You can always apply an aftermarket wrap. There are some tutorials to do it yourself or you can just goto a detailing specialist who should be able to do the job. I too have an S and am looking to get this done by a detailer.

I have the wood effect internal dashboard and thinking of getting it wrapped to get the carbon fibre look. Anyone done this and can provide estimated cost?

One way to think about this is Tesla now want £120 per year for Premium Connectivity vs the now £310 saving we have from not having to pay VED. This has probably been covered before but i couldnt find it- how do you direct heat to the rear vents with a child seat in the back? I know these auto-enable when a person is detected in the back (presume this uses the same seat sensors as the seat belt reminder) but how do you direct heat...

Thanks but that's a Model 3 - i have an S and that button isn't there. apparently the car uses the seat sensors to determine if someone is in the back but i have a car seat for my son and i assume this doesn't trigger the sensor as it also doesn't trigger the seatbelt notification! BTW Dirty...
