Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
‘Did Tesla lie about letting a stranger drive 850 miles in my new car?’
‘Did Tesla lie about letting a stranger drive 850 miles in my new car?’
Has anyone seen this? Seems totally believable unfortunately.
Of course, Spain wasn't in WW2 but it did have Franco the dictator until the mid 70's and as you say has reverted to type, even though it has a socialist government at the moment. Completely over the top response and quite illogical.
I'm talking about the UK of course and I have only seen a couple at any one time in the past but this is over fifty in one chunk.
Does anyone think this could be connected to the large staff furlough?
In the inventory section there are currently 53 Model 3 cars with mileage on them. They are under the new car section as opposed to the used car section which is a bit misleading.
Is this an effort to sell stock before a price reduction?
Obviously demand has fallen off a cliff due to Covid-19
I know what your saying about the touch voltage but I'm pretty sure the regs just say that a PME isn't normally allowed for an EV charger that is "outside or potentially outside", unless of course the other part of the regs is complied with, the part that allows a Zappi for instance.
A similar thing happened on a friends model 3 and I put that down to cumalative earth leakage, with the car providing a part of it. In his house he had a lot of sub mains but only one RCD and I think the car was the car was the straw that broke the camels back. A common problem.
I bought some Gtecknik serum light and EXO in the summer to ceramic coat the nose cone of my fifth wheel trailer which would take a full days work twice a year to clean. It would get black with dirt and it wasn't a case of just washing it off. Normal car shampoo would not touch it. I treated it...
When I saw it I think the only reference to bullet proof was about the stainless steel, 9mm from ten meters but not the glass, seen that quoted repeatedly by the press of course. Not that should ever be an issue in the UK, post Hungerford!
Yes, I agree with that as far as the US fifth wheel imports are concerned. As far as the UK tow trucks are concerned the Ranger can be adapted to a 7T train weight as can the latest Navara. The old V6 version was upgraded to 6.5 Tonne train weight.
I'm towing a Celtic Rambler, made in Wales (Like a mobile home). Currently in Portugal for the winter in it. It weighs 4.3 Tonne gross mass and am towing with a 3L V6 Navara which has been adapted and with upgraded weight limits.
Whilst we get over the looks it's worth remembering the towing and carrying specs. Almost 3.5 towing and 1.58 Tonne in the back, and that's for the base version. That is a lot better than anything sold in the UK at the moment, and it will be as tough as old boots too. I would need an BEV pickup...
Hope this doesn't sound pedantic and hope I'm not wrong but when you say UK don't you mean Great Britain as I think GB is England, Scotland and Wales and the UK is GB and NI.
Yes, this has happened if you want a greater than 4KWp solar installation for instance, but they can't impose a cost on a standard sized PV system and if you read the link it would appear they can't impose a cost for this either as it is a responsibility linked to their licence. It's not really...
Just seen this amongst the frequently asked questions:
6. Will DNOs refuse the installation of an EV charge point or Heat Pump?
No, DNOs are obliged to facilitate the installation/connection of new loads to the power network, as part of their license condition.
It's all about the DNO's...
I have just googled and read about that application. The regs are now under a new eddition and this appears to be a new requirement. As your total demand has been estimated at between 60 and 100A it would appear to be a requirement and the potential problem rests with the supply to your house...
It will draw about the same as an electric shower but obviously for a longer period of time. Your electrician should apply DIVERSITY. It is in the regs and also the on site guide. If you mention it to him and he doesn't understand then I would say you need another electrician. What other large...
