This thread says the Utah store will take deposits. Salt Lake City will be accepting Model 3 deposits ---- edit ---- ... and to confirm I called the SLC store just now (3/21/16 around 3:45 pm) and asked myself. I was also told they will be accepting deposits.

Thanks for the news. Any link available? I was just browsing the Utah threads, and the "Salt Lake City" store turmoil thread said the store was NOT going to be able to accept deposits.

You are still over simplifying it. It is pretty easy to have less than $7500 in federal income tax liability with multiple children, and significant itemized deductions with a gross income over $100k. With some planning, still possible to bunch deductions, but each person needs to do the math.

I just did the math from the 4 quarterly letters. They delivered 31655 vehicles in 2014. reduced goal was 33,000. slip of 1,400 vehicles in 1Q 2015 -> 31,600 delivered in 2014

@Denarius - any update on your delivery window? I know it is early, but I saw a semi loaded with Teslas on Wednesday afternoon as I was driving north on I-215. I couldn't get a good photo in time since it got off onto the I-80 exit, but I was happy to see it. Edit: oh, and +1 on the meet-up...

I don't think they will. If they choose to broadcast when the 10,000th car is sold, it immediately will draw a line in the sand about how many sales/deliveries have occurred in the quarter.

And in the other financing thread it was mentioned that Penfed had a 90 day lock period. Financing options - Page 9 I refinanced my own used car, and I called Penfed and asked, and I was also told the application was good for 90 days. FWIW, my process with Penfed was perfect. I know it has not...
