Well that was short lived -- charged to 90% last night and only got 209 rated miles.

Absolutely agree. Might hate some minor things, but I always look forward to the updates -- just too cool. Love it.

Well, I did increase from 206 to 210 by charging to 90% regularly (or maybe it's the new firmware updates or some recent trips that exercised more of the battery for calculations or ...). @Sparrow and I have similar #'s, but I believe we are the worst of the 85's.

Was told the same by my SC. I'm not convinced that my battery is "operating as designed". I just keep hoping they find something as they look at my car's logs every so often. (A pack, 85kWh, 18k miles, 210 rated miles at 90%, on 7.0)

I have the exact same numbers as @Sparrow (2012 P85, 17k miles). Hate it and no relief from my constant pinging of tesla service center.

Charged this weekend, first time just me and no stalls ICEd. I think the cones help a bunch. Coming home, full stalls (none ICEd) and three of them were Tesla employees (2 washington dealer plates and one california mfg plate). Working weekends...hmmmm.

I think you might see a big change with 1.67.28 version of 6.0. I did. I went from 208-210 rated miles @ 90% to 237.

Just installed .28 version of 6.0 and my rated and ideal miles are way different (accurate??). I used to get only 208-210 rated miles at 90% on a babied p85 w/ 12k miles (dec 2012 delivery) on original 6.0 release, but now i'm already at 226 rated miles at 85% (still doing a test 90% charge)...

After reading this thread, I decided to do a 90% charge (normally do 60% each day and only drive 30 miles/day) and see what I would get. I am an early VIN (1776) but only 12k miles and have a P85. Not sure I like my results and not sure this can all be explained by algorithms and balancing...

Just recently made the Ritzville to Ellensburg segment (Sept 1, 2014) so I thought it might help others to see more data points on energy usage for that leg. I used evtripplanner.com with a 1.05 speed multiplier (I have a P85 w/ 21's). The calculated data from that was 112.9 real miles, 149...

Found this note on my car while parked in my garage. A bit creepy that they must have walked into my open garage door and placed this under the windshield wiper, but cool anyway. Folks just love these cars, which I fully understand. :)

Well, I will let you know how it goes. Hopefully someone has already done the supercharger to St. Helens and back to supercharger route (or great wolf lodge with charging options???) and can chime in. Should be doable, but not sure about the elevation gains.

Anyone done a trip to Mount St Helens from Seattle and back? We may try to do it as a day trip or we may be willing to stay somewhere in between for a night. Can we do a full charge at the Centralia supercharger each way and have enough range to not stress a small side trip when at the visitor...

I agree with the general sentiment of this thread and hope Tesla wakes up and takes notice to this real or perceived nickel and dime'ing. Why not start charging for supercharging, at least it will provide a mechanism to control usage when they start to get congested. Better model to make back...

I went the zip-tie route. I mounted the plate holder (tesla supplied) upside down and used three zip-ties. Had to take the nose cone off to get the top two ties nice and snug with the third one below. It doesn't move at all, the actual plate attaches nice and flat, and it doesn't seem to...

Can you verify if the cable is getting pushed *all* the way in? I've seen/heard where this can happen when not fully engaged.

The battery message reappeared for me on 1.19.31. Service told me they were aware of this issue and an update is coming soon to address it. Asked if I could safely drive it with this message and was told yes. Awaiting update (4.2?)...

Just got word that service fixed everything. Did *not* have to replace the 12v battery, just had to override the message to get the latest firmware in place. Everything is back to normal.

Just got bit by this issue yesterday. Tried the trickle charge...no dice. Call into service and looks like a replacement today or tomorrow will be scheduled.

I just got the 1.17.52 update and my car is also displayed incorrectly. Is there an email address that folks use to send in requests like this? Doesn't seem a big enough deal to make a call and bother folks but would love to have it updated, especially if it's an easy remote update.
