I would like "Quotes from William O'Neil's bestselling book" for 100 please Alex...
Who is Nathan Rothschild?
For the win.
w00t!
When I came across that sentiment way back in '89 or '90, I liked it so much that I printed it out and framed it. And I've still got it here in my den. =)
Here's one of my favorite idioms...
Question: How do you make money in the stock market?
Answer: Never buy at the bottom and always sell too soon.
Great question. That makes me wonder about my unused electric dryer outlet too. Although I think dryers use less juice than ovens. How about it, anybody in the know?
w00t!
Thanks for the news.
p.s. I believe that after the fifth post you're allowed to add an avatar. Then you'll be avatar 2x.
And if you were to use something like this then you would be avatar 3x.
Cheers =)
First off, let me be the first to say welcome to the TeslaMotorsClub forums.
Well then, that seems to me that vehicle manufacturers have already set a precedent as far as "galleries" go for showing off the company products. Thank you kaisen.
Cheers =)
Repost from Huge THANK YOU to existing owner thread
Well something in these two comments triggered the "Evil Genius" part of my brain. What if Tesla has already factored in the costs of any potential lawsuits and really is just considering it as part of their marketing budget? I think that...
Well something in these two comments triggered the "Evil Genius" part of my brain. What if Tesla has already factored in the costs of any potential lawsuits and really is just considering it as part of their marketing budget? I think that well done "Service Centers" could fill the need for any...
Yep! That's a factor that is at the forefront of my mind. Right now I'm less than 5% invested in all things TSLA. And for the near term I certainly do expect continued uncertainty from investors. But I'm ready to raise my stake at the drop of a hat. (A Tesla hat that is!) And for the longer term...
I agree that there are many, many reasons for TSLA to go up. But at this critical point in time, there is also plenty good reason for it to not go up. Right now there are many hurdles that they have to clear. I personally believe that they will be successful (or perhaps it's just my optimistic...
I saw M.P. & the Holy Grail for free as a sneak preview in 1975. I was just a young teenager and thought it was a riot. The theater was a Century 21 located right across the street from where the San Jose Tesla showroom is now.
... and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify...
Josh, er I mean Arnold, I hope that you're not going to trade in your red OldsmoBuick for the Model S. Those are highly collectible classics nowadays.
I'm sorry, who are you again?
I'm Frieda's boss.
Who's Frieda?
My Secretary.
+1 Very good point
And to all of you other kids preoccupied with potty-mouth talk, get out of here pronto. Now scat! (pretty clever double entendre, huh)
Cheers! =)
the stock goes up, the stock goes down, the stock will surely come back around...
If you're going 100 mph, then what's behind you is not so important. (Unless it's the police. And that's the only traffic citation I've gotten in over 30 years. But hey, I was driving my AMG and it was in the desert for crying out loud!)
Maybe this'll help
Here's a simple little example of locking in profits:
I bought one share of stock for $30. The price of the stock went down to $28.:scared: I got scared that I would lose some of my money if the price did not go back up to what I paid. The stock price rose back up to...
Note to self: secure seatbelts and double check the door before attempting "the Drift".:scared:
This reminds me of an incident way back when I was a teenager. It was a nice sunny afternoon and I could here a lot of tire screeching going on. After five minutes or so, I hear a thud. I peek over...
Sorry Bonnie but your post did have a very slight snark factor. But after re-reading it I realized why; you didn't include an emoticon for confused: . I think that would have cancelled out any hint of snarkness. (is that even word?)
Whoa, I hate to show my noobness but to hear (er, read) that there are programmable steering wheel buttons is awesome. That was the only feasible response that came to mind when I first heard about the "glass" cockpit (all touchscreen, that is). I desire tactile feedback to facilitate actuating...
...the twenty-first century coolness factor?
As much as I am a curmudgeon on some things, I also am willing to trust in the foresight of forward thinking creative types. My initial reaction is the same as you Kevin, but perhaps the cameras would do double duty in that they would be...
Wonderful write-up. And I don't care what anyone else says, I love that color! For me the Signature Red is just kinda, meh. What a beautiful car.
Cheers! =)
While I love my fold-in mirrors and use them about 90% of the time, if I didn't have them I probably wouldn't mind too much. But with this being such a high ticket item, I can understand people's consternation.
However... perhaps Tesla is not too concerned about it because they're closer than...
Hello Claes. You have nothing to worry about communicating utilizing the English language. Your usage is vastly superior to many people which claim English as their only language!
Well they are two entirely different risks. And I'll be the first to admit that buying calls can be an exciting game to play, but just be aware that there is a pretty high likelihood of the stock not reaching that price in a short time frame. And if you hold your position up to expiration, you...
I would expect that most if not all of the items that are normally standard on vehicles in this price range will start to be included in the not too distant future. Right now it's much more important that they're working on smoothing out the bigger concerns. As long as they have a certain amount...
Wow! Just the idea of having the ability to have additional software written and installed into your car has given me an adrenaline rush. The possibilities are endless.
Options can be looked at in different ways. A few are: as Insurance; Locking in profits, Limiting losses, or Gambling.
There are plenty of places online to help you understand and learn the basics. Just google "options tutorials" and you'll be on you way. You also might want to pick up a copy...
How about a Roth 401(k)?
I like that idea.
Also, does your employer offer a Roth 401(k) option? If they do then you can still benefit from the 100% matching aspect. By the way, I LOVE my Roth IRA! I have it in a self-directed brokerage with level 2 options trading approval. I opened it 10...
I would like to "second" the motion regarding motorized side mirrors. I've had them for eight years now and I retract them nearly every time I park.
Cheers! =)
As long as they can keep the quality up and resolve any problems quickly when they do arise with the end user, then I believe that we all have a winner here. For me, all of press reports that are appearing now that the S is populating the roads is enough to drive sales for the near term.
Looks like a fun ride...
Hey there four7s, there were a few Zero motorcycles on display at the Folsom event for National Plug-In Day. The bikes sure seem like they would be a blast to ride. And if you're looking to save some cash, you might ask about last years models. Apparently the factory...
I've been dreaming of a Tesla of my own for quite some time now. And I've spent way too much time lurking on these forums as an outsider looking in, so here is my debut. Ta-dah!! I live less than twenty minutes from the new Supercharger station in Folsom, California so I figure that it must be a...
