Cant justify the price for just stop/start charging I'm with Pod Point and I don't think they offer it on their 'Smart' chargers. In fact, it can't even chart power draw/hour, only per charge. Downloaded this, connected. Doesn't work. Gives error. Going to try again.

Anyone got an alternative to TeslaFi for stop/start charging? I can schedule to start at 00:30 on Octopus but have to estimate % charge at the end to try get it to stop near 04:30. It'll be nice to take out the guess-work.

So put some lights in that run off the 12v auxiliary. Usually turns off within a few minutes. With no obvious pattern. Since plugging in though, remains permanently on it seems. Anyone figured out how the car decides to switch off the auxiliary power yet? Posting pictures soon

I had 3 10-90% charges at Westfield which I never got charged for. These were on the new stalls that weren’t yet live on the map and the connectivity in that car park is sooooo poor that I won’t be surprised that if they are using some sort of SIM communication method it’s just not uploading...

So went back today. All chargers open (including old ones). So total probably around 20 all in. Also, because of them not being on the system, I’ve charged twice now at the new chargers and not being charged :D the ‘cost’ resets after a few days and doesn’t appear on my account.

I was there today. All new stalls are open (about 10) and there was a few model 3s blocking the chargers (parking not plugged in). Of the old chargers, they’ve closed off about 4-5. Rest are open. The supercharger on the map shows the OLD stalls not the new ones. So it said 8 of 8 available...

Went to Westfield today. Charged on SC to 100% (long trip back) and when driving back, GPS is stuck in Westfield, rear view black, AP unavailable, SOS button needs servicing error. Tried many reboots and a maps update. No joy. Any advice?

If we are talking about the Tesla model 3, the ‘Tesla.com’ bit can be pulled off with your finger. Then the registration slides downwards and out. you don’t need tools or a flathead. I surprisingly couldn’t find any online videos but you shouldn’t have to force anything.

Why not just leave it unplugged and let it run out of charge? That way nobody can steal it in a hurry either whilst you’re away

With hold I can get a smooth controlled 1mph for manoeuvres. Never experienced so much control before. Also stops the embarrassing reverse break squeak. Why does this only happen in reverse?

There's a supercharger on site if you wait 15 minutes, or drive to Heathrow charger a few mins down the road. Theres rumours of free supercharging in the first 24-48 hours (I didn't get my first supercharge deducted from my 1000 miles)

The hidden cost for me was the amount of phantom drain you get. Especially when pre-heating the car! I have to admit it has got a lot better since I stopped checking the app every 5 minutes, and I got TeslaFi to put the car to sleep. It doesn't bother me but if I was doing a lot of daily...
