Good thoughts, same as mine! It's not a security Torx, that was what was holding the unit to the wall so bought the set and presumed it would fit but no. Could be spline but can't find any security spline bits. The more I look at the pic I'm wondering if it's a security nut, not a screw/bolt??

Got a delivery date - August 17th. Can't believe it is finally arriving! 3 months is perfectly reasonable to build a car and get it to Scotland via Netherlands. Just wish they hadn't estimated June when I bought it!

No the grant has never featured on my order agreement. They've just not taken out the Ludicrous charge despite increasing the base performance price. I'm not worrying - it'll all work out eventually!

I didn't get the EV loan. The £300 grant was approved with my order number only. And obviously all the paperwork from the installer. It is different from the OLEV grant in as much as it's claimed after installation. Well, was in my case - don't know if other installers claim it on your behalf.

Congrats! Already got my route planned to the drag strip for when mine arrives! With a supercharger 30 miles away and a slow charger nearer the strip I plan to arrive with 99% charge :D

I was sent the updated order for my MX today. It reflected the increased base performance price and still charged for ludicrous - so I've gone up £3k! All getting a bit silly...

Mine hasn't been delivered yet so I got lucky - new prices will be applied to my order. Who knows how many more times the price will change before it arrives!

I confirmed with my sales rep in Edinburgh that I will be getting the price changes on my yet to be delivered MX. It should be noted that although Ludicrous is now "free" the base price for a performance MX has gone up by around £4k. Still £4k better off than I was yesterday!

No, unfortunately there's nothing to do with the VIN that I can work out! Just good to know there is actually a car with your name on it! It may well be on the same boat as mine. I'm not expecting anything for at least another 3 weeks. Trying to remain calm...

Only have VIN because I found it in account page source. Then hassled the sales centre in Edinburgh until they confirmed it was my VIN. Then asked them on a near daily basis "Is it her yet? Is it here yet?"

Mine ordered 14th May. Have a VIN and estimated delivery of "late July". It's currently on a boat. Allegedly!

Sales rep emailed yesterday to say it was now on a boat and to expect delivery late July. That doesn't fit with any of the boats from SFO so must have trained it over to east coast

My understanding was that my MX was being transported from Fremont to the east coast via train and then shipped over the Atlantic. With all the M3 chat I see vehicle carriers are leaving from SFO. Is there only M3s on these ships or have they changed how MX/MS are transported to Europe?

Had my EO charger installed yesterday. Turns out I have a 30A fuse on a cable head that looks like it's been around since the turn of the century (previous one) when the house was built :eek: No showers or cooking while charging until I get that replaced!
