Model 3 Trunk Button Stopped Working

I'm not sure, but my guess is that they would replace the harness once the rubber sleeve is cut open.

Model 3 Trunk Button Stopped Working

The mobile service tech that repaired my car cut open the rubber sleeve to inspect the wires. The damage to the wires was not as obvious as those shown in posted photos, but the rubber sleeve did have obvious sharp bends in it.

Model 3 Trunk Button Stopped Working

Trunk would not open on my M3 SR+. Mobile service replaced the harness yesterday with 1068789-00-F. This morning, I saw news of a recall on the trunk harness Recall Report posted on NHTSA. I'll limit using my trunk until I get this guide protector installed.

Mobile Service inspected vehicle and said this repair had to be done at service center. We have new service center opening in our city in July. The alternative is to take a 3 hour road trip to the next nearest service center.

Blindspot monitoring and Lane Departure avoidance errors

First winter with my Model 3 SR+. Car was parked in “warm” (+5C) garage overnight and then driven outside in -15C weather. Condensation formed on glass in front of both B pillar cameras today. Hopefully it will clear up by itself. Otherwise I’ll try warming the glass with a hair dryer.

Which winter tires are you biying?

Just installed a winter tire package from 1010tires.com. Michelin X-Ice Xi3 on Replika R241 with ITM TPMS sensors. I had though about putting the winter tires on the factor rims and using the R241 for summer tires, but with our long winters, the winter tires are often on the car more than the...

3D Maxpider Model 3 Trunk and Frunk Liners in Canada?

Good to see more choices for owners, and also that there are mats for the lower trunk compartment. Is the material non-slip? Can you post some pictures of it installed? (The Amazon seller's photos are not the clearest.)
