You post is indicative of the delivery hell that Tesla is in right now. There are simply not enough of them to go around to get these cars out and do a quality job on all of htem. Since I've owned several Tesla's in the last 6 years and had a crazy delivery experience with our Model x in 2016...

Is this thread a bit off-topic? Is there an active thread following April deliveries? Not that I don't find your discussion interesting but was hoping for updates on April deliveries...

Ours still shows March delivery but the one weird change is it says it's fully paid for even though we are leasing...hope they don't expects leasing payments to start, LOL!

Glad to see Rocklin is delivering something. Our VIN x91796 Was supposed to be delivered March 31....wonder what's up?

Radio silence for xx01796...it's been in the late stages of production since last week of March...delivery in Northern California, Rocklin Service Center.

Checked on ours today. It has now been in the "final stages of production for more than one month.

Her reason was that there are so many cars backed up at the factory that the service centers had the time to do all of the detailing that the cars go through for delivery.

At our DS's suggestion, we changed from factory to service center delivery as she said this was much quicker. In the interest of full disclosure we've done the factory tour several times over the years with our Model S.

We are VIN 17xx configured in Dec. Still hoping for our "March" delivery! LOL90d, all upgrades, 6 seats...

It's radio silence for ours as well. We were one of the ones that were supposedly built on March 31st, but we're told it did not make the midnight shipment as the car was still being tested and now it's nothing. Ours is 90D with all the upgrades possible for the 90's...our DS did tell us it...

Vin 17xx has been in the later stages of production for a few weeks now. My page still says March 31st delivery .

Wow, we show the same delivery window but no payment details. Our vin is 0017xx. Our DS has not returned my call in a week.

My hubby got in the back in December and felt is was a it tight so we went with the 6 seat version.

We got it and confirmed back in early December. Can't go though. Fortunately, I got to see an early X before configuring anyway.

I wonder when non performance X's will enter production?

Sorry all, I didn't mean to get everyone worked up. I am planning to get advice from a tax specialist but wanted to have all the data I can to help him review the situation. Especially the GVWR for the X's that are out. I'll look at Bonnie's images. As for the rest of you, I appreciate all...

Can anyone who has their Model X confirm that the GVWR is >than 6,000 lbs? Also, if anyone can direct me to a good summary like the one above that I can provide to my accoubtant. Right now, he doesn't feel it qualifies.

I'm at 51,000 miles in my Jan 2013 Model S and have had no problems.

My drive unit has never failed so I know for a fact it isn't 100%.

Congrats, but be forewarned, once you go to a Tesla you'll never go back. Have a 3 yr. old Model S and are anxiously awaiting delivery of our Model X. We've never been "car people" and our most expensive auto purchase previously was $50k. This is what Tesla does to you!

Has anyone read the wired article about the X. They seem to feel the storage is "cavernous". It's worth a read. They did ride in the car. They certainly present a different view from what you all are saying.

Thanks for the great information. It looks cool. I too am leaning toward the 6 seat version as it makes so much more sense. Also, I am THRILLED by the car weighing in excess of 6,000 lbs. Time to talk to the accountant, though I doubt ours will be delivered in 2015 and who knows what changes...

Trying to live vicariously through you all. We did not get an invite. Model S 3802 and Model X 8928....wish we could be there so tweet lots of updates foe the rest of us!!!

We will get ours in 2016 as well. Hopefully, the tax incentive will still be robust.

I called and Tesla about the GVW of the X and was told it was under 6,000 lbs. They weren't that confident but did say they'd have vehicle specifics out soon, hopefully for all configurations.

I wonder if the Nissan NV electric truck, kind of a delivery truck gets both credits. I'll ask some Nissan guys...
