The button does light up, everything else works normal but the door latch does not open. I already swapped the mechanism, so I guess the problem is either in the wiring loom or a control board.

Does anyone know what connector type the stock amp has that goes to the sub? I don't want to tap it with a normal cutting tap, instead I want to make a kind of Y splitter with the same connector so I can put everything back to stock with no damage

One of these things is not like the other. I was debating on PPF but I have not had any on any other cars either, so I did correction and ceramic coating. It's way easier to clean, and gets less dirty in the first place. Cost me a couple hundred, well worth it.
