As of today, it seems we have the Xfmr in place. Seems we have graffiti already.

Is this unusual to not have an xfmr this far out from pedestal completion?

I stopped by yesterday 12/4/22. Tried plugging in, still no power. Last stall in place is still uncovered. Getting closer each day.

I was there this afternoon. It looks like it’s progressing very quickly. Definitely faster than any other site I’ve ever seen.

Great news everyone. Figures I’m home recuperating from surgery and will not be able to swing by and enjoy my first Portland Maine SC experience for a while.

That’s been my experience when following construction of new SC’s. Kennebunk and Lynnfield Mass. Once the pedestals are erected and buttoned up, its usually a week or so.

Yes, it is designed for 12 chargers. Two of the spots look to be pull in locations, for folks that may have a trailer on their vehicle.

I stopped by yesterday and actually found some folks working at the site. I asked about the status and the gentleman thought likely within 30 days once the pedestals arrive.

I swung by last night, still nothing. I’ve seen a few of these go together in the past. I’ve never seen it be as complete as it is now and not have finishing activity within a week or so. This has been many weeks of nada.

Not seeing any progress. We seem to be at a standstill. Fresh!

Guess what kids? It’s open for business, charging here as we speak. 12 stalls. Totally surrounded by great shops and restaurants. Still not officially on the map, but works well.

I swung by today, seems all the piping trenches are filled in and paved over. Beginning to look like it’ll be a string of six chargers, with a set of chargers on each side, back to back with a total of 12 charging spots. Interesting configuration.

Porta potty in place is a pretty good sign of upcoming activity.

I stopped by the Forest Ave Hannaford and construction has begun. They beat the deadline for the permit in time. All is well. It’s all fenced off and there is some heavy equipment in the fenced area.
