I can't believe they get away with service / treatment of customers like this over a $50K+ purchase. A lot of excuses are made for Tesla - if always back stuffing the quarter wasn't so critical, there wouldn't be experiences like this where they just try and plug and play the optimal solution to...

This is what happens when you stuff all deliveries in the last days of the quarter, on top of the COVID-19 stuff. They are just going ALL out, shifting models in and out - essentially solving for whatever increases the most amount of deliveries before the chalk line is snapped on the quarter.

Don't pay before delivery - not worth the risk especially for something as expensive as a vehicle. Pay by check upon delivery date is preferred.

Relax. No potential upside in the short-term. The announcement is out, shareholders are reacting negatively - what details could come out on a Thursday that could make this valuable to a shareholder? I think a battery swap system is incredible, and it gets rid of one of the major arguments...

Selling now. No real potential to the upside - cat is out of the bag and the details provided with the swap can (IMO) only be negative to a shareholder's point of view - not necessarily the customer obviously, but still.

Completely on point in every way. The conference just is not the setting for an announcement, given the Q&A nature of it. "Keynote" may throw others off as it could imply an Apple-esque presentation. This is not how it works, and I expect as brianstorms said for announcements to continue coming...
