My car took longer because they had to fix the paint armor too, but I dropped it off at 9am and it was done by 2pm. I live down the street, so Shane even gave me a ride home after I dropped the car off and offered to pick me up. Here is a picture of the car in my garage. Not the best lighting...

I'd like to know the name of it. Is it on there well? I am worried it might come loose during a wreck. I considered ordering a suction-cup one, but after reading a few reviews on Amazon that said it peeled off the window tint, I'm afraid to try it.

Until our son grows big enough for the jump seats, we have him in a Britax Boulevard seat installed behind the driver. I wanted to get a mirror so that I can see him in the rear view mirror, but all of the ones I have come across attach around the head rest. Has anyone found a product that works...

Congrats on receiving your car! :) Chris emailed me today and says looks like we may receive our car on Sunday. That's quite a bit later than we were hoping for, and we have extensive plans made for Sunday too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for an earlier delivery...

Yay! So exciting! :) I talked to Chris this morning, and he indicated that our car was still on it's way to San Diego. I was hoping for delivery tomorrow since I'm off work, but it doesn't seem likely at this point. Just out of curiosity, what was the timeline from when your car left the factory...

Btw Solar City is installing our outlet/HPWC at no additional cost from what was initially quoted. Our sales rep quoted us based on straight line wiring distance vs going up through the attic and back down. Solar City wanted about $2k more for the installation, but escalating to a supervisor...

Tesla cashed our PenFed check on 1/31. I called them yesterday. I was not able to reach my product specialist, but the person I spoke with at the general number indicated that our car has left the facility. We were told we would get a call 48 hours before delivery. Is this accurate? I'd like to...

It's 4914 :) Happy to have a VIN < than my sequence #! I originally finalized for 40 kWh, but upgraded to 85 kWh on Dec. 13. If I had originally picked 85 kWh, I would probably already have taken delivery of my Model S.

VIN #4219 :) they said it will still be a couple weeks before delivery? Hope it doesn't take that long...

We are getting our Model S with the rear facing seats. Our son is currently 14 months old, and on the small side (29" and 21 lbs), so looks like we may have a while to go before we can use them. Slightly off-topic, but any advice for which car seat will work best in the back seat of the Model S...
