Also somewhat unrelated, but along the lines of buggy software… Tesla thought I had a Model Y for a day. I opened the app on Dec 23 and it showed the Y 🤣. It reverted back to the Model S at some point during the day.

I think they mean the avatar will display a different image during different times of the day… so in the daytime it will look lighter (light shining with more reflections) vs nighttime (darker with less reflections). But that’s not the case here it’s clearly two different blue colors.

Still an issue ☹️ although they claim it’s “normal” Come on! It’s two different blues, not a lighting condition.

What did you say to the service center to get them to replace the VPN keys? I’m in the same situation with an unreadable eMMC.

Add another one to the list. 2014 P85 with AP1. Touchscreen died a few weeks ago after attempting a software update. Reset/reboot didn’t help. Tesla app showed the update made it to 99%, but no luck getting it going again. Tesla support tried to diagnose it remotely, but the car is no longer...

I just started noticing bubbles in my instrument cluster a few weeks ago. Sept 2014 P85 build with just under 55k miles. I will be contacting the SC tomorrow to see what my options are.

Stood in line on 3/31 and was #43 at the Tesla Decatur, GA store (Atlanta area). At the time I was a non-owner, but I purchased a used P85 in Nov 2016. So I assume I was bumped up in the queue. Just received the configuration invite email yesterday.
