Do you see a new model S with steer by wire and faster charging coming any time soon? I was thinking to wait for that but unsure if I should pull the trigger now on a Plaid soon instead.

Any word on when these upgrades are coming? I want a new Plaid but I feel like the new Model 3 is better! It has a few more refinements in the HVAC and interior lighting etc. that I feel like the S/X should have.

I really appreciated this post. I look to get a plaid soon and this response has helped me weigh in on my decision. Thank you! I think it is overblown too, a lot of people have said it's mild etc. - it also could be that you are experiencing it very mild because yours isn't that bad?

I don’t think they do demo drives for any of the Plaid Models, but LR for sure. Another member PM'd me and said that Tesla has a fix for the vibration stuff coming by the end of the year via a software update? I think that could be promising. I'm in the same boat, really want to order one soon...

Would you still purchase a new Plaid given your current situation/ if you knew about the vibrations? Now that the Plaid is going for like $90k sticker, i'm thinking about getting one. Thoughts?
