Seems like an LFP battery specification. Lower range and lower voltage/power. If LFP, it would also have longer lasting lifespan, ability to charge 100% repeatedly with no degradation, and elimination of volatile chemistry with much higher safety level.
Glad to see i am not the only one with this issue, anyway. I have no intention of paying for FSD while AP can’t even handle driving straight in basic highway lanes.
First of all, since when are Tesla Model S’s being used for prisoner transport?
Second - the pole next to the car also seems to have some of that dust dripping on to it - not sure if that’s meaningful.
Third - my best theory is that this car was not yet delivered to an owner and was stolen...
No really - it normally gets 35-40 mpg but i recently drove a few hundred miles towing a uhaul motorcycle carrier and got 28. My rig wasn’t too different from his and i probably had more drag than that roadster.
Just running the math on my highly fuel efficient Sienna Hybrid, which gets about 28 mpg pulling a trailer using regular 87 octane gas. Cost-wise, that’s a push, but I would much rather do this with my Y. :)
Great video - i want this guy selling my Sienna one day! One thing that strikes me is there was zero attention paid to the software/dashboard experience, which is a major part of owning a Tesla. Only a brief mention of Tesla’s ridiculous decision to force the yoke steering wheel on everyone...
