    Scheduled departure for 100% charge?

Even more... To add to the list I posted, in this order: Reconnect power wall gateway to home network Reconnect phone to power walls, power cycling them The good news is that I now have settings I can be happy with: Charge on Solar set to 60% from any source and 80% on solar. TOU pricing set...

    question on Scheduled Departure charging

I agree that a one-time departure setting would be valuable. I see that in the 2024.8 software updates there is a "One-Time Charge Limit". Not exactly what we want, but probably useful. It's also not clear to me whether I have this, since my car jumped from 2024.3.25 to 2024.14.9 and I don't...

    Scheduled departure for 100% charge?

Thanks for the replies and apologies for not following up. It was a busy weekend. Travel with the MY was great and the navigation took me to two easy-to-access and uncrowded superchargers. Over the weekend I didn't look at this much because I lost access to some app functionality and didn't...

    question on Scheduled Departure charging

I had already set up the TOU information on the "Home" tab because I had panels and a couple of Power Walls before getting the car. When I added the car I saw that it didn't automatically pick up my settings from Home, and told the Tesla part of the app to copy the TOU plan from Home, which...

    question on Scheduled Departure charging

Separate peak settings for the car and power walls didn't occur to me since the power walls and car use the same app. Still, your suggestion seemed worth a shot. Here's what happened: - No peak time settings were visible so I attempted to turn Charge on Solar back on. - the control was...

    question on Scheduled Departure charging

Just tried this overnight. (sorry for also replying on an older thread) We have a long off-peak period from midnight to 3 PM. Our trip starts at 11 AM, so I tried to choose settings so it would finish by the departure time. Some here have apparently seen that work. Instead, it charged at...

    Scheduled departure for 100% charge?

I just tried this last night with our new Model Y. Our low rates are from midnight to 3 PM and we are leaving at 11 AM. The car charged from our usual 80% to 100% right after midnight, so it's sitting at 100% for 8 hours or so before we leave. Not a disaster, but I had hoped it was smarter...

    Powerwall Overnight Charging Rate

I was unclear. They charge at 6kW until full. That takes roughly 1 to 2 hours. I only mentioned the 15 hour available time to point out that they could charge at a much lower rate without any pricing issues. For example, if they charged at 2 kW each they would still be full by 6 AM.

    Powerwall Overnight Charging Rate

My two Powerwall 2+ units are charging at about 6 kW each every night at midnight. The rate is the same from then until 3 PM, so there is no reason to charge so fast. There really should be a setting for this, either in terms kW or time. I even wonder if Tesla is asking for trouble with...

VPP: Error Failed to send Application

I have exactly this issue, but in PG&E territory. My rate plan was just approved and appears on the PG&E site. I have tried multiple times. Deleting the app and reinstalling made no difference.
