I picked mine up a week ago and it did have front mud flaps and rear ppf. I would agree that it seems like a "select market" luck of the draw for those items.

Interesting that this is coming up so early for you. From my pickup experience, this doesn't come up until they reset the vehicle in preparation for ownership transfer (from Telsa to you). My SA did the reset after I inspected the vehicle and "accepted" delivery. The car rebooted and I restarted...

Congrats. That's too funny about your wife, mine did the same thing...while I was setting my profile in the lot, she looked over at a red M3 demo car and said, think I want that one. But she just got a 21 Honda CR-V in March. I told her that we can order her one after the first of the year...

Talk to your delivery center team, they should be able to adjust the delivery date to accommodate you. Definitely do not give it up without talking to them first. Good luck!

Yeah, sorry for the short initial post. The process was painless. I had paid online before the appointment. Just had to sign docs for Telsa to send me tags in 30 days. The gaps looked good. There were some water spots and leftover adhesive gum, but no scratches and panel gaps, and door...

They will attempt to match it to another order (most likely why some July/Aug orders get matched before the same build in May/June). If there are no matching orders, it will go out to inventory.

Just took delivery. Dropping the ICE car at home and talking the new girl out for a spin.

No major plans...other than getting my Y today!!!! It was originally scheduled for a Monday pickup but I called the SC yesterday and asked them to ping the car to see where it was at. They responded with, it's here...would you like to get it before Monday? I said sure and set the appointment...

That button becomes active 24 hrs before your delivery date.

I used distill.io. I set the interval to check every 30 secs and when one I was interested in showed up, I hit the buy button without any hesitation. During the week, even this method might not be fast enough. But during the weekend, the cars stay available a bit longer. Good luck and happy...

I remember seeing other last quarter hold off on payment until they inspected it. Then used Plaid to initiate the ACH and drove off with the car. You can always call and verify that payment at pickup is acceptable. I'd hate for you to drive 4 hrs and not be able to take delivery.

Nice. I did hit the decline to sign option yesterday. I was hoping the loan would drop from my account overnight, but it has not. Like you, I don't want to call but it looks like that won't be avoided. Hopefully, others can chime in with their experience.

Have you done anything with the DCU offer? Did you contact them and tell them you're using other financing or decline the sign the documents? Also, does your car loan still show up in your DCU account dashboard?

Once you get 3rd party terms (DCU or any other lender), you can send that loan information to [email protected]. They will tell you if your loan qualifies for that program. If it does, they will tell you to switch to internal financing (if it's not already set that way) and then they will...
