Last second decision (today - 09.26.2023) - bought 2023 MYP (from '20 MYP lease) - pickup tomorrow (09.27.2023)

Repeating what many others have said, but there are significant improvements from 2020 to 2023 in sound isolation and suspension, quite impressed with this new 2023 MYP. One surprise for me was that Tesla (way back in 2020, apparently) removed the ability to reduce regenerative braking...

Oh, and I was SUPPOSED to pick up tomorrow, however, they contacted me as they found a chip in the windshield, so they are replacing the windshield...and knocking another $500 off, so I pick up on Friday instead. I hope they find more stuff!

That would be great if I could...if only my business was something related to 'satin' lol

I'm one who was waiting for the Model Y refresh (Juniper) but the way things are going with the Model 3 refresh, and it's eventual release in the states, combined with little to no mention of the Performance model, I changed my mind this morning and purchased a 2023 MYP (midnight silver...

Tiny chip in windshield - already inspected by lease end inspector - can I get repair?

I've seen the other threads on this, not quite exactly as my situation...tiny chip (4 months old, so it's not expanding) on my windshield, inspector noted it so he said I need a new windshield...can I just get Safelite to show up to repair it or am I pretty much stuck at this point because it's...

    Should I trade up ?

Deal breaker for me would be if the next MY is yoke-only - I can't stand that, buddy has a MS Plaid and it's annoying. Sounds like the same will come over with regards to stalk-delete, as in his car one has to work with the touch buttons and wheels and stuff. I'm sure I'll get used to that, as...

    Should I trade up ?

My current MYP is off-lease Oct 1 (did a lease instead of purchase to see if it would work for us, with range, charging, etc - it worked better than expected) so I’m in the same camp as others, wondering if I should order now or wait for Juniper revamp. The incentives are awesome, for sure, and...

Getting my new Y tomorrow, when can I order the Jupiter? [ juniper - only info states late 2024]

Some articles state production on 2024 Model Y 'Jupiter' begin in October of this year, as a 2024 model, obviously. Gotta love Tesla, keeps us guessing, ugh.

    MYP Suspension Travel

this is good news...I'm worried about it, as my '20 MYP suspension is so harsh, was looking at some pricey suspension upgrades for when I get my next MYP ('23/'24)

    2023 After market suspension upgrade?

I, too, am researching suspension upgrades for 2023/2024 YP, as I'm about to return my leased YP (leased to see if the 'experiment' would work, range, charging, etc, it sure did!) and am EXTREMELY disappointed in the crap suspension on my 2020 YP - the back seat is unliveable, it's ridiculous...

    Performance Boost Available

A buddy of mine has a MS with Ludicrous Plus, and now launch control. Took it out for a spin last night, and holy smokes is that insane! If Tesla ever allows a Ludicrous-like mode for it’s ‘lowly’ Models 3 and Y Performance, I’m jumping on it. You turn the mode on, press both brake and...

    Built-in navigation is weird/unreliable

Possible, but it was two different areas, both of which right off the 5 freeway in Socal - you'd think well-traveled and therefore well-documented/recorded
