So through a series of bad decisions, I still don't have a model 3 despite almost getting one at that 39k price late last year. I'm still very interested but now the car is much more expensive. I just keep on waiting and it keeps on getting more expensive lol. I still might order one just...

This is actually my fear right now. I want to order and take delivery around March/April at the earliest but I worry they’ll somehow find one for me asap and I won’t be ready/able to take delivery.

They are definitely playing hardball with the order deadline. I had a deadline to hit "I'm ready" by 12/9. Talked to my SA and he said his manager approved me for another 30 days. Online it showed this extension. Went to check today and my reservation is gone, like it never existed and SA says...

If I order a base model 3 today (white, no fsd, black interior) it shows estimated delivery of June 2022. Based on what you all know, do you think this estimated will be generally accurate? I don't want to take delivery until like March/April at the earliest and I'm worried they'll move it up...

Quoting myself because in ONE day, I hit "I'm ready", then got a VIN and EDD, then got the ready for delivery email. The latest pickup date is this Saturday. Now they are going too fast. I am trying to scramble with my bank as I never expected this so fast. I guess if I can't get the financing...

I originally ordered in early September and placed on hold. Removed hold today and immediately got a VIN with EDD 12/7-12/11.

My thoughts are the price of the 3 will go up again soon. So losing my $250 and spending another $250, I'd probably still save money and for sure get it later next year when any sort of rebate is hopefully in play again.

My account shows I can hold til June 1, 2022. I got an email saying I must hit "I'm ready" by 12/9 or my order will be canceled and deposit forfeited. Today I got a text saying the same but also added that if I attempt a new hold it will automatically cancel as well and 12/9 is the drop dead...
