Model 3 clicking sound near the rear wheel area

The Tesla service center isn't likely to use an aftermarket shaft, and I don't have the experience to install one myself. I have no idea what the part charge is for a new one. Apparently their hourly rate is $195/hr, but I also don't know how long it would take to replace. Is this something...

Model 3 clicking sound near the rear wheel area

That's what he said. Maybe he was referring to both shafts, but that was not explicitly stated. The service tech who performed the repair said he'd been working at the service location about 3 months and has done over 20 re-greasings.

Model 3 clicking sound near the rear wheel area

Same click on my October 2019 purchased Model 3 with about 15,000 miles on it. Took it to Tesla service yesterday. Only had to wait about 2 weeks for an appointment. Spoke with the service guy who said he greased both axles. It was covered under warranty, but I'm only about 4 months out...

Supercharger - Granada Hills, CA (LIVE 24 V3 stalls)

Yeah there's one over by 818 brewing that, before the pandemic, when I'd visit there about once a week, there was never an actual cable. I reported it broken, but it was never fixed. Or maybe it was and was just treated as new copper to take. Who knows.

Supercharger - Granada Hills, CA (LIVE 24 V3 stalls)

I was coming south back to the valley on I-5 yesterday and Santa Clarita had 17 open slots while Granada Hills had 4, so I stopped in Santa Clarita. I think they under-sized Granada Hills.

Supercharger - Granada Hills, CA (LIVE 24 V3 stalls)

Uh, Tesla owners aren't regular people? Tesla owners are more likely than Toyota owners to read forums? Or maybe just because the car tells the owner where it is? Oh look a new red supercharger icon! :) Living in the area, I don't find it surprising at all. Before the pandemic the Volta...

First rain of the season outside and inside the car.

In my confusion as to why there was water on my center console, I didn't think to do that. It's pretty easy to see however where the headliner has detached near the center left of the windshield. I suppose the problem would be if they just reglued that to the windshield but didn't find the...

First rain of the season outside and inside the car.

The first rain of the season after the first hot summer. And we didn't get much in the way of rain last year. This is Los Angeles in an extended drought.

First rain of the season outside and inside the car.

Model 3 purchased Oct 2019. We had our first rain of the season overnight and when I went out to the car this morning there was a puddle on the center console. Looked up and the headliner near the rear view mirror is damp and slightly detached in the driver side as compared to the passenger...

Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

That's a pretty dense area, I can see why there might be trouble finding a spot. One wonders however what happened to the Target partnership? The Target on Balboa at the 118 would have been a better location to capture freeway usage than Sprouts in Granada Hills which doesn't have the same...

Supercharger - Granada Hills, CA (LIVE 24 V3 stalls)

Indeed. In fact, quite a bit more reliable than PG&E, and likely even less shady. That said, it's a public power utility, owned by the citizens of Los Angeles, but run as a profit center for the city's general purpose budget. And I've lived here long enough to remember when there were no...

    Electrical System Power Reduced....

I filed a service request and received a response saying someone had looked at some logs and deemed it a software problem that would be fixed by a software update. And in the meantime if it happened again a full reboot would get the car going again. Uh, huh. We'll see.

    Electrical System Power Reduced....

My car just did this when I went to move it back to its charging station after washing it. Anyone have service out to actually look at this? Or anyone have remote diags done with a definitive answer?

    Supercharger - Visalia, CA #2 (under construction May 2022, 20 V3 stalls)

Isn't the CHAdeMO adapter like $400? And an L2 charger isn't really fast enough to service that trip, at least in my 220 at 100% mile range 3. (240 on the sticker, but I didn't get 240 even off the lot (lost the battery lottery)). You'd have to spend 4 or 5 hours outside the park. For a day...

Supercharger - Granada Hills, CA (LIVE 24 V3 stalls)

I drove by on Friday during the noon hour and there were two LADWP trucks on site with two LADWP employees asleep, at least all 4 eyes were closed, in the cab of one of them. Drove by Saturday and the blankets are still on the chargers.
