Ausgrid changing pricing for electricity grid access

Agree about the second one, disagree about the first one. We have house running on electricity only and the peak price is 65c/kWh, yes, SA. Mine will pay back in 4-5 years + convenience. Note that it is not only 12.5kWh for night, it removes the external consumption completely during the day...

Australian Model 3 Highland experiences, tips, tricks

3984 km on the odometer. I've spent $34.4 total, which makes $0.87/100 km. As a matter of fact, I didn't even have to spend it. Trying to push myself out of the range anxiety :)

I've enagaged lawyers in an attempt to recover FSD cost (Australian owner)

Unfortunately, the other reasonably priced option is to pay Chinese Communist Party, which I find a lot more unacceptable than to pay a rich American psychopath.

Yes, and this is another reason why, despite the car is absolutely fantastic, I'm not paying for lunacies and wishful thinkings of some rich American psychopath :)

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

There is some problem with the asymmetry. I find it very-very weird it wants to cross the centreline specifically in left curves, which is most dangerous because oncoming traffic cuts the curve and also crosses the centreline. Why nothing like this happening for the right curves?.. Also, if I...

Not convinced :) all the same, map to the left, car to the right. Shorter bar, good. But it is almost usable there. The only thing is the left curve.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Yes, also no difference for adaptive high beam, but I think it is allright as it is now, no one blinked at me yet and I always get back from work when it is already dark. Maybe they are just too scared to blink at me though... But this crossing double centreline is bad and dangerous, and I see...

Updated, tested. No big difference in UI, no difference at all for autosteer, it is still dangerous on narrow roads in left curves.

    Single Phase Charging Options

Nah... Those plug and socket connections will overlive most of the houses they are attached to. I put an $11 hook on the wall by the socket, looks good, matches the colour of everything :)

    Single Phase Charging Options

What is the benefit in installing a fixed wall charger, unless you have full 3 phase solar? I've installed 32A socket, bought the plug and UMC. This gives the same current as the wall charger, but I don't need to buy two devices.

Ah ok. I'm yet to try to use those, I have 32A socket.
