They maintained that I hit something but agreed to fix it as a courtesy. I think they knew they were full of it and ultimately wanted to do the right thing.

I will ask them in my follow up email. All I know is from what is in the estimate - "Right Front Subframe Bolt." They screwed the bolt back in while it was on the rack while they are diagnosing.
