    Spotify - Liked Songs playlist

Hello all We have been using Spotify in the car for a while and our little boy has created a mammoth playlist using “Liked Songs”. This is on the account that is linked to the Tesla subscription. We have now gone to Spotify for our home music and want to transfer / share / link to the Liked...

    No power = broken window!

Not my experience of JLR to be fair. Had the wonderful iPace for 3 years and it went in for a single service (£210) , the bi-annual winter/summer tyre swap, and one warranty issue with the SIM card reader. I recognise that Tesla have a very different style and approach to the traditional...

    No power = broken window!

Parts for the “bright work” not due back in until February so collected the car today with the fixed window at £260. Have looked at the level of “damage” to the brightwork and being honest it’s a minor scuff - and well within the length of scratches allowable as wear and tear on a lease...

    No power = broken window!

I think finding the manual information and at least seeing if there is a compromise (I cover the cost of the trim / the window is covered as a “gesture”) and see where we get to.

    No power = broken window!

The location wasn’t really suitable for fixing a 3 pin charger location - always carry both types of charging cable. Also was a pretty time constrained day - which meant only realising the car had no charge at the point I walked out to it in time to leave for the appointment. A pretty tight...

    No power = broken window!

Thanks all. 20/20 hindsight shows there were a number that of decisions that would have avoided this, a learning opportunity. Checked insurance - and it seems windscreen damage covered, but not other windows but will check when they respond. Have approved the repair in order to get the car...

    No power = broken window!

The 15 mile and 12 mile decision was pretty fixed. Charger not working and that was the next nearest option. 30 and 43…maybe. Had an EV for 4 years and made trips like this on a couple of occasions and not been caught out (although not with the temps - didn’t put 2 and 2 together in the short...

    No power = broken window!

I will challenge this but not sure it will get me anywhere. It’s Ok to say don’t run out of juice, but for me it’s an inevitable outcome at some point for some one - and one that should be accounted for in the design and operation. I am guessing that the freezing temperature made the rubber...

    No power = broken window!

So Tesla want £500 to fix this 😡

    No power = broken window!

Maybe good advice. But not aware of it. It warned to open a window so that you could access the car from the outside if you exited, but don’t recall the risk of damage being shown. Also - it’s -4°C and there was no heating in the car, sitting with the windows open for 3 hours would not have...

    No power = broken window!

I hate petrol stations (the benefit of owning an EV is never going to them) and used to regularly brim the tank then run to fumes. Naturally there are occasions where time constraints meant I’d stretch it really close - regularly doing 30 miles on 0 range. Only got caught out once - 200 yards...

    No power = broken window!

I accept it’s an emergency issue and you should ideally never run out of juice. However from a design perspective it’s completely foreseeable - and in fact it almost guaranteed given the number of units sold that this will happen. The fact that it’s not been engineered out - have the car...

    No power = broken window!

Recovery cost £270! Hoping that the window is under warranty- had to leave it with them as it’s not drivable. Will be fixed by Tueday

    No power = broken window!

Would never normally use the buffer. But my options this morning were not great Don’t travel? But important appointment and car range indicates there and back within the range (though tight) and could then charge when back. Also I checked public charger availability and Zap showed 6 all...

    No power = broken window!

Going to be going some research into the charger. Worried about how long Tesla will take to fix it and how much it will cost. An expensive day…
