Had the same issue. Wife said the same. I thought the same. That said, she wasn’t wrong - I changed my order to Plaid and couldn’t be happier. Would have regretted the LR and Plaid was only 15k more.

I haven’t noticed any difference in ride quality or efficiency decreasing. There’s a video on YouTube of a guy who tested these exact covers and no range differences.

Strange that in the video he says 3 times not to buy this if you don’t have wind noise…as if it’s a solution but could cause an issue if you don’t have the problem to begin with?

I have a service appointment to bring in my Model S on Saturday morning after the mobile guy couldn’t fix the rear passenger door from closing inconsistently. Saying they’ll need to replace the hinges, but this thread has me debating even going in.

Really making me question bringing mine to the service center to fix the door that doesn’t close well.

Does this strike you as one of those situations where I should just leave it alone because the service center could make it worse? Or take it in?

If it was just the top of the door not being flush I’d agree, unfortunately I can’t shut the door without slamming it hard.

They tried the latch adjustment but it didn’t work - he thinks it’s the hinges and they’ll need to be replaced in the shop.
