    FWD Stops Short

No wrap on my car, but I do have a carseat on the side that won't close. Maxi-cosi brand/style. Bulky but doesn't touch the door. My 2 year old says "FAIL!" when the door stops short. SC said it would be a firmware fix, but the new firmware they pushed to my car didn't help at all.

    FWD Stops Short

Anyone have a fix for this? I tried the 45 second up/down but it didn't work. The FWD gets stops about 80% of the time now and I have to press "close" multiple times to get the door to close completely. Service center appointment in Burlingame, CA is 6 weeks out.

    FWD Stops Short

I have the same partial close issue on the passenger side. Quite annoying as I need to watch the door close completely and confirm it shut before starting to walk away.

How far will Tesla go to fix alignment issues (doors, chrome trim, etc.)

Does anyone know if repair time of "fit and finish" issues count towards the 30 days in the California lemon law?

    Rattles ?

After 2 visits and about 25 days in the SC, my many rattles seem to be gone. Some of the culprits were loose trim, cables/wires not secured within the doors, loose screws in the visor. As with Mark Z, I still have the creaking, and the rattles (when they were present) were mostly noticeable at...

All seats are preforated with the non sig PUP. Only the front two are ventilated.

Wrinkles and creases in ultra white perforated seats "normal"?

Actually in that pic you posted there appears to be a very small wrinkle/crease in the top left corner of the photo (rear corner of the seat cushion). SC says these types of creases are normal because the material is so soft and supple. I wonder if it is poor craftsmanship. Your pic also...

Wrinkles and creases in ultra white perforated seats "normal"?

Both my front ultra white preforated seats have one crease/wrinkle each on the middle of the seat cushions. They have been there since delivery. These are supposed to be the updated version with backing. SC used heat treatment to get them out but they reappeared as soon as someone sat on the...

    Rattles ?

I have rattles all over. They seem to multiply and get louder daily. It's been to the SC once and it wasn't fixed. Going back in tomorrow.

    Autopilot Question

Service advisor confirmed it is a torque sensor in the steering column/rack, not a pressure/grip sensor on the wheel. So you need to provide some drag/resistance on the wheel for the message to go away on the X.

Very loud fan noise from frunk area with AC on...

I have the same super loud fan noise with the AC on if it is a warm day. Today was about 72 degrees, and I heard it. Once the car unlocks it kicks on to "cool down" the car. It drew several confused/concerned stares from people nearby because it was so loud. I have no idea if its normal.

    Autopilot and "Hold Steering Wheel"

Yes, it senses torque or turning resistance. This was confirmed by my service advisor when I told him the "grip" sensor wasn't working. He also said the Model X requires slightly more torque than the Model S to make the warning go away.

    What's the avg Kwh/mile?

My Model X P90DL with 22" wheels is using about 530 watts/mile. I had a loaner Model S 90D with 19" wheels for a week and was using about 330 watts/mile. I'm getting about 30% less than the "rated" range. Nice to know the trip planner will re-route based on actual power consumption, but I wish...

Anyone else have door rattles in their Model X?

My Model X (with 22" wheels) has slight door rattles in the front driver and passenger doors, and more pronounced rattles in the passenger side falcon wing door. I just picked it up from the service center to fix the falcon wing door rattles, where they told me it was caused by a loose motor...
