Why not show estimated range (based on recent driving trends) instead of rated range?

If people want it, they should add it as an option. Elon votes with the people, right? Very simple. We have 20 different games, they can certainly add one simple display change. I prefer seeing a miles estimate. The EPA one is a total waste. I would pull up the energy screen, but it takes the...

Will this 12V lead acid battery work for OEM replacement?

So the So the ultimate answer for a Model 3 before 2022.3 is 1) 33Ah minimum, and 2) 51R for the size. Is that correct? And either lead acid or AGM works. Lead acid is what Tesla uses, but AGM also works (I have not idea what AGM means, but I'm ok with that). I'm guessing Cold Crank Amps is...

Will this 12V lead acid battery work for OEM replacement?

Correction. The estimate includes $210 for a diagnostic. I asked about it and he said I'd only pay for the portion of the diagnostic that applies. It'll be much less that $210. Seems a little odd, but ok.

Will this 12V lead acid battery work for OEM replacement?

For someone who doesn't understand batteries, it's not easy to figure out what batteries will work without going through Tesla. BTW, I have an appointment today to get the 12V replaced. $316. I guess the days of the cheap batter replacement are over. It's out of warranty. 2019 Model 3 with 67k...

    Predicted mileage on main screen?

Is it possible to put the predicted mileage on the main screen instead of rated miles? It's 10 degrees outside and the "rated" mileage is essentially useless and somewhat dangerous if you're not paying attention. Seems like an easy UI option to implement, no?

New App and Charging Info is propaganda rather than data

You’re 3 months in. Relax and enjoy the car. They’re using all kinds of statewide averages, which is never perfect. If you want real info make your own spreadsheet. I have a wattage reader where my car plugs in, so I know exactly how much electricity it draws. They can’t use actual mileage...

    FSD beta 10.7

Don’t base on upgrade from 10.5. That was weird.

    FSD Beta 10.6

Ugh. Patience is not one of my virtues, haha. I'm sure I'll find a phone number to nag someone in a few days. I'd rather them just tell me to be patient, otherwise I'll keep thinking there's something wrong with my account/car/connection or something.

    FSD Beta 10.6

Has anyone had issues getting 10.6 update notification. The other updates came within a day of it coming out, but still no notification for 10.6 yet :( Nevermind...should have read the previous threads. Seems like I'm not the only one.

FSD 10.4 won’t engage in rain

Anyone notice on 10.4 that FSD isn’t available when it’s raining? It drives fine at first, but after the first disengagement it wouldn’t engage FSD again. If you park, and start again it’s the same…works until the first disengagement. Only light rain I’d say.

Supercharger - Somerset, PA - Westbound Service Plaza

Westbound to Pittsburgh. Tesla routed me to old Wendys...even though the Turnpike ones are open!!! I got to see the new chargers as I zoomed past 😢. Should have checked this site first.

My car is level 5 when parked in my garage!

    Autonomous Car Progress

It's fun to see the race to autonomy. Of course I think Tesla will win, but what do I know. Waymo seems very smooth, but also in a very controlled environment. If Tesla can get over the hump, they're training their cars for anywhere. I do enjoy being a guinea pig for it though. The cross country...

Overreaction: Is Elon planning on selling us out?

    A) This isn't a discussion of particulates in the air. I'm not arguing for ICE vehicles. B) Robotaxis will not give everyone access to education, employment, etc. Believe it or not we already have taxis in the world...we've had them for 70 years. Robotaxis will undoubtedly cost more than a...
