If Tesla is outproducing everyone combined, why is the EV charging plug "standard" a J1772/CCS hack and not Tesla's, which is clearly much better designed?

That extension cord looks very thin. I got another one off Amazon and it's very thick, over one inch in cross section. It stays significantly cooler than the UMC charging cable.
Even 80% is too high. If you can keep it below 70% or preferably 60%.
In your case I would just charge to 90% since you're not staying at that high SOC very long based on the amount of driving you do. Just make sure it's not charged to 90% until right before you leave in the morning.
Is Depth of Charge more important or State of Charge more important?
If I charge to 75% and drive to 50%, should I recharge back to 75%? (Less Depth of Charge)
Or should I wait until 25% to recharge? (Less State of Charge)
