Took this off our 2020 Model X Performance the day we bought it, and wrapped it up and put it in a box. Looks brand new. My wife wanted wood trim so I found a set online and replaced it, we just sold the Model X and now have this left over.

Picked up today in DFW. It was just starting to rain but I got to inspect the car before it really got wet. I didn’t see anything wrong anywhere, all the alignments and gaps look perfect.

True - but if the car was already on its way to that destination they probably just looked at the list of orders at that SC and matched it to the next one on the list with that same config, especially if they're trying to move as many cars as possible.

Really option A was to wait for radar units and install them, keeping to their original timeline of removing radar functionality from the fleet. I also agree with your point about radar, everyone talks about "redundancy" but really a redundancy to a camera is another...
For everyone hand-wringing about the radar... Just don't take delivery until they figure it out and bring those features back.
