I liked cars all my life but now I prefer go down the road on a spark instead of a fire.Engine Versus Motor... Internal Combustion Engine Versus Electric Motor... 20% efficient versus 80% efficient... Both have been on the road for over 110 years... One will dominate for the next 200 years after a transition period... One has dominated for the last 90 years... One must spool up for tork from 0 rpms... One provides instant tork from 0 rpms, so instant is the tork, it turns metal into liquid... One fuels up and along with it's fuel consumes oxygen and exhausts pollution... One fuels up and consumes nothing but it's fuel and exhausts nothing.It is hard to get over the almost, living, breathing, belching internal combustion engine after all it seems alive with the way it must breath in and out, almost like a animal. If a gas powered car was made to carry all of it's energy on board including the air it uses and the exhaust it expels it would have a range of ten miles. Yet a electric vehicle carries all it's energy on board and exhaust nothing.
