Idaho to Montana and back in the Winterish, YLR - First Road Trip 1,100 miles in three days

That's pretty cool. Good to see the first town in the US to use nuclear power has a fast charger!

I don't disagree, but this is what Tesla has said on their website.

Idaho to Montana and back in the Winterish, YLR - First Road Trip 1,100 miles in three days

Interesting. I have found the trip planner to be fairly accurate. A 23% swing would be concerning. Having a CCS adapter isn't a bad idea. I think they were $250 last time I looked. I generally plan out all our stops before the trip. I look at each SC option and look to see which ones have...

    Staggered Tires - Rotation?

Since the rear tires are wider than the front, I've read you can't put them on the front without risking rubbing when turning at full stop. going from left to right only reverses the tread pattern which potentially cause less traction on wet roadways. Performance tires generally only have one...

    Wall charger says it’s offline

I would go through the connection process again. It's fairly simple if you have all of the information needed.

Are level two chargers at hotels/ garages always cheaper than Super C’s the US ?

I have always found L2 chargers at hotels to be free. Those in parking garages are a rip off considering the amount of charge you get for the amount of time it takes to charge. When going to stores or shopping centers with free L2 charging, I don't even bother. Trying to find them can be a...

Idaho to Montana and back in the Winterish, YLR - First Road Trip 1,100 miles in three days

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you were using navigation to SCs so the battery preconditioned prior to arrival. This will help with charging speed especially when it's cold. Took a short trip from Boise to Vegas in early December last year with no issues in our MYLR. Generally the car...

    Sentry mode

I have tried reviewing video on a computer once. If I recall each camera is a separate file? I found it faster to review video in the car. This allows you to view 4 files at the same time and delete them all at the same time if you want. I'm a noob at this so I'm sure there are more...

    Wall charger says it’s offline

I haven't messed around with the wall charger settings. Can you set a time for your car to start charging? I know you can set it to be charged and ready to drive by setting a departure time. The car then determines what time to start charging based on different factors.

I assume we will all find out at the same time. Any word on the M3P release date? Just holding out so I can by a M3P cheaper or same price as a M3LR after the $7,500 off.

    Refreshed model S Tire rotation

I don't know if I would agree with your point. When putting AT tires on trucks, I usually get asked if I wanted the white lettering inside or outside. From the tire stand point, I don't see what difference it makes. From a performance POV I do see a difference such as water discharge. But by...

2023 MY trunk spoiler and mug guard

Interesting. The MYLR I took delivery in December from Freemont had mud flap on the front wheels only, and PPF on the rear. I have yet to return the ones I purchased before delivery (mud flaps and PPF) if you are interested, IM me.

2023 MY trunk spoiler and mug guard

Just a question. Did your MY come with mud flaps on the front wheels from the factory?

I need to charge - Big Bear

Have you entered the route to the SC into the car's navigation? It's pretty reliable including taking into account elevation changes.
