Right, I was under the impression that any flashing and valleys and ridge caps (?) were metal but not the tiles themselves. The fact that the tiles themselves might eventually begin to look different due to corrosion over time is more concerning than if those other pieces corroded uniformly...

Yep, I'm not mad it was discontinued, just makes mine all that more rare. I have only seen a few Model Xs around town and no other Titaniums. I think that blacking out the chrome makes Titanium look much better, especially with the black wheels. Thanks to Billy @ Presidential Detailing...

I dropped my X off at the SC this morning to have the AC fixed and some misc issues resolved. I got a notification from the app that there was an update available. I guess that's 8.0?

I'm going to upgrade but I'd like to also have them do the Autopilot 2.0 hardware upgrades at the same time, so I'm waiting for that and then I'll have it done while I'm out of town.

I admittedly didn't read every post in this thread, but I wonder if Tesla requires that you "surrender" your 90D battery packs in the $20k purchase price. Couldn't we resell our 90D packs to someone with a 75D back?
