New update 2021.44.25 adds customizable app launcher like Model S refresh plus other major upgrades to system.

Love the new UI. Can someone let me know of by splitting the HVAC from controls left right means you can adjust temp individually? Can't seem to achieve that maybe I misunderstood the feature.

Tire air pressure, something interesting or placebo effect?

So I'm on the quest to recalibrate the range estimation because my 2020 MY went down to 293mi @ 100% charge. I've been driving down to 20% and charge up to 100% a few times now and was able to "recover" to 295mi @ 100% this past week. However, I noticed something interesting that after I backed...

    Model Y Battery Calibration

Hmm gotta try this approach. I've tried a few even the one suggested by Service (discharge to 20% and charge to 100% 3 times) but none help. I'm in the same boat in terms of range, bought it for almost a year and I'm floating at 293mi at 100%.

    Tesla saved the day

I considered my self as a more conservative driver where I look over my shoulder when changing lane follow by a quick peek at the screen to make sure no cars in my blind spot. It had been serving me well until yesterday on the way home. I was engaged in a conversation with the passenger and just...

Rear Seat Cover Recommendation (for use with Car Seats)

Echo the same on using the el cheapo carseat protectors. Been using the same set for years between cars. I can take some abuse from the kids and the food. :)

    2020.44.10.1

Just got prompted for 2020.48.10 update, installing right now. Looks like a good release this time with notable visual improvements it seems. Edit: re-read the release notes, nav improvement is only available in China market.

    TPMS sensor issue?

I noticed during the colder days, my Y TPMS often report irregular tire pressures even though I pumped additional air to all 4 tires and measured with tire pressure gauge. In the screenshot, I thought the tire pressure were pretty even but yet still getting the TPMS warning. On summer days, this...

Keeping Model Y Window Defrost and battery management during winter

I think OP experience holds true for any car, when I used to own ICE cars, same would happen during cold days. I typically rolled the windows down for a few minutes to "reset" and it seem to help the rest of the way to get rid of cabin build-up.

Right Pillar Camera Blocked or Blinded

I got this notice typically on the cold days in TX here, like today, where the pillar got some kind of "steam" stuck in side and driving around a bit with some sunlight helps dissolve them and the warning went away.

Another thread on AP - Why I don't trust it

I am in the skeptical camp when it comes to AP but often times wanted to validate my skepticism (yes I know) by putting AP to the test. Today, while approaching a red light and I was coming to a stop with approx. 10ft away from the white marker. I invoke AP thinking it'll see the red light and...

    Regenerative braking reduced warning

I have noticed the same experience on colder day in TX where regen warning came on and as the day gets warmer it works as expected. I'm wondering if this is per design because to prevent the vehicle from skidding in ice condition? Just a thought. All in all, I react to the vehicle just to be on...
