Is there anyone who drives the Tesla 3 Standard Rear-Wheel Drive in winter conditions such as in the Prairie Provinces of Canada or the US States like

Just want to clarify that there is no PTC heater in cars with the heat pump, so it does in fact work below 15°F. The heat pump can pull energy from outside, batteries, and drive units. When needed, the car sends a lot of power through the drive units to create additional heat, which the heat...

    Problem viewing Camera from Phone

I have done this a few times. When premium connectivity expires, you have to re-enable the remote viewing function in the Teslas settings. So you likely need to go into the cars settings and turn that back on. EDIT: to be clear, you need to turn the setting back on when you resubscribe to...

Wind/road noise from doors/windows -- fix it for good

I’ve only had mine on for a couple weeks. But I do remember that when I was installing it, the adhesive didn’t seem to want to stick. I also cleaned the seals with alcohol beforehand. I decided to force it in place and the leave the window closed on it for at least a day before trying to roll...

Model 3 delivery: My Existing inventory Car sold as new, but I don't think it is new

If it makes you feel any better, my new M3 came with mileage over the stated 15 on the MVPA (cant remember exactly what it was, it was no more than 50 though). But as someone who purchased using a certified check I can tell you I accepted delivery in the app before they had any time to process...

Wind/road noise from doors/windows -- fix it for good

I got 10ft and it was the perfect amount for both driver and passenger windows. Take a look at the pictures from Den’s post not too far up. He shows where the seal is placed, if you go look close at your own seals, you’ll quickly understand what to do.

Wind/road noise from doors/windows -- fix it for good

Just wanted to drop in and thank @Zen_3! I followed his input to put those D shaped seals all the way around the front windows and the noise went away completely. I also noted the noise coming from that top corner area before, slightly touching the window while driving would change the pitch...

Picture of OEM black license plate on your model 3

@Rohhee, not sure if you did it on purpose for your own reasons, but those tabs on top are designed to go behind the actual plate. It's a pain to fit it sometimes, but looks nice and clean.

What is the best way to change my calipers to red?

That is a valid concern. It’s been a while so I forget what the working time was and how many coats I did. I was lucky because I had bought new rotors and painted them before installing.

Whistling noise from driver's side window area

I have found this to be the exact case for myself as well. The downside for lowering the window ever so slightly is it causes more squeaks with bumps, at least in my case. Glad to hear they were able to remedy this, I think I will be submitting a service request for it in the near future.

    Young Driver Restrictions

Oh, that's interesting. When I had the overnight test drive, the car had the 85mph limit but didnt limit the acceleration. This could be a special setup for the demo cars. The wording in the document doesnt clearly state if it is limited to Chill mode, just that it automatically sets it when...

    Keep phantom drain under control

I bought my car in July and have been using TeslaFi since about a week after taking delivery. I tried a couple of the other apps as well but I'm on the nerdy side and like all the raw data that can be accessed. I was also concerned about this preventing a normal sleep schedule, but I have never...

    Young Driver Restrictions

You can definitely set a speed limit (under the Safety settings I think). I'm not sure if there is any way to limit the car to Chill mode though, it would be smart for this kind of use case.

    Keep phantom drain under control

This might be down to how this is translated (as you mentioned) but after googling Tesla Standby, there is an actual setting for this, and is not the same as the car sleeping. It seems to be related to the FSD/EAP summon feature as others mentioned, which you said you don't have. I'm wondering...

    Tesery CCS1 Adapter now selling!

Uh, that would make those even worse. A device that has a current rating well under the current draw of the system (without a way to tell it to turn down) is dumb. I haven’t seen videos of these pulling over 150kw so I can’t say it’s even true. My Tesla CCS adapter has pulled over 200kw.

    Tesery CCS1 Adapter now selling!

Just keep in mind that these two chargers are rated for 150kW (they have a typo with kWh, which is not the same) whereas the Tesla made ones are rated to 250kW. These may work great, just worth noting you wont hit the peak charge rates above 150kW.
