We go camping just outside Tulsa every year. If I charge to 100% in Denison in my Performance Y I can’t make it to Tulsa. The car is packed with stuff and if it’s cold in the fall I’d not be able to make it even with an empty car.

The real problem is opening up that passage from the right side of DFW to Tulsa. I live in the northern right of DFW. If I want to get to Tulsa, I have to take a nearly 2 hour detour by cutting left across DFW and taking the passage up through OKC and then all the way to Tulsa. It’s awful.

I wonder if we’ll actually see this charger get built after todays catastrophe..

We took delivery of our Performance Y in May. Last month, when going over any slightly bumpy surface at 40mph+, it developed this high pitched squeaking. Sounds like it coming from the drivers side front wheel well. Service center has no idea and won’t fix it unless reproduced at low speeds...

Dallas, delivery date scheduled for Sunday. Just got a call saying the car hasn’t arrived so delivery got pushed a week. So very, very sad.

Just moved into our rental (house built in the 90’s I’m told) and will be installing a 60amp breaker and hooking up a NEMA 14-50 outlet. Anything peculiar you see here? Someone mentioned a need for GFCI breaker?

Can I ask roughly where in Texas you’re taking deliver? We switched to Performance on the exact same day, our spec is the same except I’ve got black seats. EDD 05/15 - 05/29 in Dallas.

I’m glad I changed from a LR to a Performance because having the delivery date move up saves me on rate increases on financing. Locking in 2.5% now vs whatever it’ll be in October. It may even cost me less to get performance in the end.
