TSportline added their logo to all their wheels - voice your disappointment!

Thanks for sharing, yeah the logo isn't too bad, especially on the black (I ordered matte black). Prefer without but might not be a dealbreaker for me.

TSportline added their logo to all their wheels - voice your disappointment!

I have some of the 18” Arachnids on order, but might cancel. Is TSportline still badging their wheels?

WARNING: Liberty Mutual, Tesla's "partner," is terrible, denied part of my claim

I know all claims are different and vary widely from state to state, but here's what happened to me. I switched to Liberty Mutual within the past year after Tesla referred me there, which is why this situation is so ridiculous. Tesla's own "partner" nitpicked me on the specialty rate for...

    Limiting output at ~60% charge?

Yeah it was a nice day outside that day, so around 70. I think I was driving home from lunch or something and the car had been outside for a while.

    Limiting output at ~60% charge?

This has happened a few times recently, but my 2014 S60 has been limiting the power output even when I have plenty of battery left, and I don't understand why. I know the car will automatically limit power output under certain circumstances (low charge to preserve range, extreme temperatures to...

Motley Fool story - Tesla Replacement Part Delays

Wow, really? That article was on Yahoo home page in late June? It was published in early March. Weird. (Author of Motley Fool article here.)

Possible to disable auto presenting doors altogether?

I could have sworn that it was possible to disable the auto presenting completely. When I turn the setting to "off" the door handles still extend/retract, just not automatically when I approach the car. One of mine failed a few weeks ago, and another is now making a faint grinding noise, so I...

3rd party install RFS (Rear Facing Seats)

FWIW an extra data point, I had my Tesla SC retrofit our RFS shortly after I took delivery of our CPO in 2016. Total cost was $3150, and this was before they increased the RFS price from $3k to $4k for new orders. My car actually already had the bumper reinforcement, which saved them from having...

Model S 60 and 60D to be removed

I also don't believe the "most people upgrade anyway" statement. Seems the opposite is true. Here's Elon on the Aug 2016 call talking about the margin impact of 60s that don't upgrade. So by eliminating the software-limited 60, can push margins from 15-20% to 20-25%.

Motley Fool story - Tesla Replacement Part Delays

Well, the car was just days away from completion anyway when I published my original Motley Fool article, so I don't think Tesla has done much else following me publicizing it, other than investigating and blaming the shop.

Motley Fool story - Tesla Replacement Part Delays

Author of the MF article here, glad that I can help raise awareness of an important customer pain point that Tesla needs to address. These stories too often only circulate on forums among enthusiasts and get little to no mainstream coverage, so hopefully by publicizing my experience and getting...

Repair Woes - 3 months and counting

I'm in a similar, slightly-worse boat. My wife got rear ended in our S in mid-July, ironically while I was in CA at the Tesla factory (I worked for Tesla at the time). My local Tesla-certified body shop has also been unable to begin work on the repairs (damage was actually less than yours, it...

Got 3rd row rear-facing seats retrofit in my CPO S60 today

They just install the latch on the back of the existing 2nd row.

Tesla included in new Takata airbag recall

Correct, it takes many years under very specific environmental conditions to degrade, so it's not an immediate concern, but all Tesla owners should be aware of this and check their VINs once an official recall is issued.
