    Turning signal button "stuck"

Slightly off-topic, I guess, but my 2023 Model 3 (with stalks) has recently began to not cancel. And it will not let me manually cancel by pulling on the stalk again, or pulling it in the other direction. Other times it works fine, both by auto-cancelling or manually cancelling. Weird.

I am frankly shocked by how stunningly ugly the Cybertruck is

... by how stunningly ugly the Cybertruck is. Seeing it in person on the road is even more retina-burning than seeing it in pictures or on the internet. I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but how this thing got past the designers and then Musk's approval is beyond my...

    Navigation on the iPhone app

Is this not because Apple doesn't subscribe to Google Maps, and therefore tries to use their own Apple Maps? I left the oppressive Appleverse years ago and haven't looked back ...

    Car Wash incident

People who ask why not just use a touchless carwash must have some kind of magical touchless wash in their vicinity. I've tried them with abysmal results ... the car comes out almost as dirty as when I drove in, except that now the car has a thin dirt paste on it that takes definite friction...

    Insurance question--need advice

Horrible pic, so I can't tell anything about how serious it is. I would find a GOOD paint detailer (you might ask around at car dealerships around you to find one) - they all use them to touch up new and used vehicles. Find one that will do your car as a side job and negotiate a price. I've...

1 Year Used Tesla Model 3 Review

But Lord, the Lightning's price! $80-100K + is crazy talk.

    Best interior aftermarket value upgrades

I think you're talking more about appearance items. I lean more toward the practical stuff - I have a cover for the center armrest because the black armrest in my white interior seemed "wrong". Also, I got a tempered glass screen protector to keep my screen safe. Another item is the organizer...

    Ventilated seats Highland

I can't speak for the M3H, but I've had many cars with ventilated seats and I can tell you it's not designed to be dramatic. The intent is to draw in some of the cooled cabin air to remove some of the heat from the seat surfaces, and in the process provide a cooling sensation to your back and...

M3P may have caused vertigo in friend.

I'll definitely agree the M3P caused me vertigo while driving it and a dizzy-ish headache for hours afterwards. It was my first time driving a Tesla, and it convinced me I didn't need a Perf model. BTW, I also got sick at an Audi driving event where a professional driver gave "thrill rides" to...

    Making hands free calls??

^ Yes. And not just person names. You can also say "Call xxx-xxx-xxxx" and it will call that phone number.

M3 Highland - Demo Drive Thoughts

Yep, I prefer the logo. Spelling it out makes letters stringing out across the trunk and mucking up the minimalist vibe.

Do you hand wash or car wash your Tesla?

I'm behind the curve, I guess, but I just got a bottle of ONR and tried it yesterday. Seems to have done a good job, and the convenience can't be beat. Washed the 3 right in my garage. One observation, though - several Youtubers say that one (white) cap from the 32oz bottle is 1oz of product. I...

Why does my M3 do this (re: braking)?

Yes! I also have this happen. At first I thought the car was reading the yellow diamond warning sign and reacting to that. But at other roundies it doesn't brake (?)

Keycard required every time when trying to drive..

    But it keeps happening. 😉

Do you hand wash or car wash your Tesla?

I've never heard of ONR until today, although I've seen references to no-rinse car wash before. I'd be reluctant to use it if the car was visibly dirty or there was a layer of "dirt scum" on the finish (you know, the layer of fine dirt that stays on even after a pressure wash). As for automatic...
