Re Sentry mode draining battery - I've made a really interesting observation last night. I came home on the motorbike and walked past the parked Model Y (which had Sentry enabled even at home). As I walked past it, I can hear the AC running as you can hear the air getting sucked in the cabin air...

Sorry the closest is the HDMI taking over the rear view window, which imo is a great integration because you still need the rest of the screen for car controls like HVAC/air suspension/Bluetooth calls etc within easy and quick reach especially whilst you're driving.

We got our MYP under LCT threshold.. I better not say too much, apparently only about 3 or 4 customers in the whole country managed to achieve that, so that'd make it pretty easy for Tesla to identify me.

Yeh so I'd say someone's can just put an LVDS deserialiser+HDMI switcher+LVDS serializer in a box to sit between the MCU and the screen right between the fakra ports (to make it plug & play). The I2C line gives me an idea tho, it's almost 100% guarenteed that'd just deserialise as USB HID...

If I had to guess, I'd say their cars have a different firmware than yours and mine. One which natively supports external input, eg: via a USB-C port or something.
