I treated my seats with 303 Protectant. I don't know what it would be like with the protectant, but I've never had any dye transfer from blue denim or anything else. I keep my car pretty clean anyway, but I don't take any extra precautions with the white seats.

I used the 3M-1080 vinyl in brushed black metal.

I am very sensitive to bright light in general, so I was worried about the white interior. No regrets. It's easy to clean and reminds me of 'spaceship' seats. I think what helped tone down the overall brightness was the 20% window tinting and wrapping the white dash.

I asked a sales associate when I was making my appointment, but she wasn't positive about the exact date.

My account says I can either pay online ahead of time or bring a check at delivery.

Thanks! I feel like I did when I was a kid waiting at the end of my driveway for UPS to drop off my new video game. Looks like manufacture date was yesterday.

Just received a text to schedule delivery. I scheduled for next Wednesday. VIN = 536XX

Just called the service center. No VIN, but estimated 'born on date' for tomorrow. They said I could expect delivery in another week or so.

As of three days ago, no VIN, so no manufacture date; however, my SA told me that when it is manufactured, it will have the new casting.

I was advised that my car (ordered on 08/28) would have the new rear casting.

I don't have a VIN either, so maybe that's the "soft" match. My SA seems confident that I'll have a match and delivery within the estimated time frame in my dashboard -- 3-5 weeks from order date, which was August 28th.

I don't know. I was calling for a different reason, but my SA advised that I was soft matched for 09/20 and it was "good news" for taking delivery before the end of the month.
